For the 1769th time buff warlock void classes
Like are you blind to the fact how dogsh*t these classes supers are and how little they actually bring to PVP. The ONE and only redeeming quality to void is blink, and that sh*t just got brought down like 4 notch’s because of stasis, can’t blink out of a duskfield, can’t blink out of the way of a glacier grenade because there’s no invincibility frames and the animation is to slow so even if you do blink before hand you still get caught. It’s not that hard bungie, list of what the community wants so these supers are at minimum VIABLE CHOICES.
1. Top tree. Give it its old tracking back, reduce the charge time of grenades.
2. Nova warp. Jesus H Christ you people like swinging the nerf hammer on warlocks. Give it a reduced heavy charge time and get rid of that stupid animation at the end. And fix the problem where when you’re at 1/8th super you can’t get another blast off, we literally only get to use 7/8ths of the bar. The total animation right now is so f*cking slow a felwinters lie can get 2 shots and a melee off and you won’t even trade. Reduce charge time of grenades.
Bottom tree. Give nova bomb shatter FFS, it’s not hard. you literally gave hunters 2 UNAVOIDABLE insta kill buttons with BB and Revenant but yet you leave warlocks dogsh*t. No BS, Grenades fly faster then bottom tree nova, F*ck they even have a better arc. Make consuming you’re grenade faster.
Reason why I gave them all better grenade charge rate is because getting hit with stasis literally cancels the animation, so waiting 6 years for a grenade to charge is no longer viable with shurikans bouncing around corners, warlocks meleeing everyone’s feet, and titans OHK melee killing everyone from halfway across a large room.
Edit: this is mostly a PvP centric post. Yes we all know top tree with contraverse is cracked in PvE no need to say it again, that’s why we use it. Once again PvP focused post. Tho NW could use some PvE love.

13 AntwortenWarlocks are in one of the worst states ever. All Voidwalker trees are horrible especially Nova Warp. HHSN is laughable compared to stasis and you more often kill yourself when using it than anything. Shadebinder is slightly worst than top tree storm now with no mobility and lackluster neutral game. Penumbra blast is basically unusable if a player is to close you do your normal melee and if a player is to far it just whiffs. Meanwhile we have hunters slowing twice from across the map. Titans sliding and flying with their fist everywhere. Top tree storm has no mobility middle neutral game but a decent super. And there’s top tree Dawnblade. So 1 of 10 options 1 is viable. That’s 10%.

Lmfaooo when someone else said buff hunters on this forum they get shit on by people but when warlocks say buff it’s ok. Yeh no thanks, warlocks are already good no need to buff them. Give hunters the most mobility first then we can talk about warlocks. Hunters are supposed to the faster class yet titans and locks are both the same speed or faster. Hunters are supposed to be less tanky more speedy, titans are more tanky less speedy and warlocks should be in between but no, hunters are less tanky and less speedy. Smh

Top and bottom void need more skills. Bottom is literally only devour which yea its a strong ability but an entire subclass based around that one ability isnt very interesting or exciting, same applies for top nova, big nades are big, like... coooool.

4 AntwortenReferring to your side note about being PvP focused. As a warlock main, we have been broken enough. We still are broken in PvP in quite a few ways. We really don’t need more Shenanigans and borderline broken things.

3 AntwortenBeen playing voidwalker in pvp throughout all of d2, and bits and pieces of year 1. I can confidently say Their's nothing wrong with top tree. Only gripe i ever had with nova warp, is the charge time on handheld supernova. Devour is my main class in everything. Only thing i feel it needs is 1 of these 2 buffs. Faster speed, or bigger blast radius, on it's nova bomb, and not both. Bungie may be a bit hard to deal with at times, but the fact your making it appear like you've been asking for this buff forever, isn't helping your case bud. It doesn't matter what argument you could make, doesn't matter if the buff is needed or not, doesn't even matter what's better or worse, cause your sounding like a entitled brat in the process. Learn to be reasonable, and you "might" make a better debate.

2 AntwortenBottom tree void walker has a very strong neutral game with the cycling of devour and hunger keeping you alive longer so it’s not a bad tree. The super is also not terrible either but it could be better

While I agree that something [i]should[/i] happen to Void Warlocks, mainly Nova Bomb, all 3 Paths have great synergy and provide a constant gameplay loop. Pairing them up with certain Exotics makes it even better. You want to blow shit up? Use the Overcharge Grenade path! You want to heal after literally every single kill? Use Devour! You want to do a little bit of both? Use Middle Tree! From an outside point of view all I see wrong with Voidwalker is mainly the Super which I agree needs a buff/ rework. But everything else, while being somewhat basic due to it being left in D2 dark days, has [u]great[/u] synergy for PvE and PvP.
