So with the way armor 2.0 has come, it’s going great. It just keeps getting in better spots, but.
I personally think the we are going to need Loadout saves going forward, 3 Loadouts would be perfect, anything beyond that is just better.
But the way we’re taking our armor moving forward in the game, it’d be smart to give us that ability to be able to do that.
That being said, I also think glimmer costs should be taken off of the mods. It’s really not serving any purpose other than when you’re low on glimmer you hope spider has the right deal for you that day.
I know there’s apps that can do this and such, but I think in the future it’d be great if they looked into what I’m talking about. Making it to where we could even save the load outs of the same armor just with different mods saved instead of going through the tedious process of swapping mods or armor around.
I just hope they do this, but other than that. Armor 2.0 is solid right now.
P.S. I’m not here to talk about an app, I know they exist. Just simply presenting an idea I believe is necessary.
P.P.S.
Do it for Ehroars sake

Yea thiis! I know I can do it in other apps, but I don’t want to go on to another platform to do it! I’m in Destiny, I’d like to shuffle my mods of my armours with a single click in the game menu’s! Pleeeeease!
-
No! How about blues auto dismantle?!
-
Would be nice but "The Vault" app is doing that quite awesomely already, even switches stuff around from other characters.
-
Why are people arguing that this is not needed? Because Bungie gives API access to some 3rd parties does not exempt them from making some semblance of a quality game, in game. After a restful API is built, the damn thing populates itself. Having one of these available is kind of like tieing your shoes in the morning. - telling someone they can borrow your shoes, does not mean you don’t have to tie them anymore
-
“Why can’t someone’s else do it” -homer Simpson and bungie
-
Ain’t happening, Bungie doesn’t care about good ideas. Money money money is their motto so stop wasting your time wishfully thinking
-
I haven’t played COD in years but if I remember correctly you were able to set up 10 Detailed load outs.
-
DIM and Ishtar can do it. Bungie can do it.
-
OMG YES!!!! I've never thought about it but we really could use something like that, If anyone has played Nioh 2 and used the loadout system on that, THAT is what we need, if bungie wanted they could even make it cost something pricey too like in NIoh 2 in order for you to swap out your builds it would cost you a book of reincarnation (basically resets all your skill points) just to swap to another build but everything will be saved, your stats, your Armor and weaponry and even all your different skills.
-
Mod configurations definitely need to be a thing too. You should be able to save 1 for Crucible, 1 for Gambit, and 1 for standard PvE activities and when you load into a match, it automatically switches to them free of charge provided you still own all the mods of course. Mod configurations can be configured and saved at Banshee.
-
Just use a app lol
-
diablo 3 had made an ''armory'' feature which can player save thier builds up to 5, per character. this was incredibly life changer
-
Yeah, going through and modding all of my armor and setting up my subclass all the time is just tedious. I want to play the actual game, not fiddle with mods over and over and over and over again.
-
DIMS is usefull

Bearbeitet von Double07: 11/24/2020 2:59:20 PMI think some item managers do this
-
Bearbeitet von Papa_ApplePie: 11/24/2020 12:57:47 PMI think that be cool. Could have a loadout set for different raid types, crucible, or Trails, and some for just messing around. Start off with 3 Loadout slots for free and if you want more you could always pay a small amount of Silver for them. It would help Bungie earn a bit more to put towards their game. (At least that's how I would feel on it)
-
I pretty much used the same weapons but once in a while I will switch it up for bounties. So for I dont really care about loadout saves. And I dont think the glimmer charges are that extreme for mods. Glimmer is the easiest thing to earn in the game. And as far as apps go>> I dont understand why people been using different apps to change their loadout. This feature used to be enable via this app for years. I used to this feature alot in D1 and D2. However, it has been taken away a few times over the years but added back. Right now it isnt available but hopefully it will be added back.
-
Okay, people are actually being serious! You guys DO NOT know about DIM? You got to be kidding me. Seriously - It's been around since D1. Try it NOW! DESTINY - ITEM -MANAGER!
-
I also think it would be cool to be able to access the vault from the directory.
-
It’s a cool idea, there’s bigger fish to fry at the moment though I feel.
-
Would be nice especially for swapping mods. I agree equipping the mods shouldn't cost so much, if anything. Really tired of goin broke just switching mods because I wanna switch weapons for a bit, only to switch again a few strikes/matches later.
-
I think thi is a great idea. For many people having an option like this in game would be a fantastic next step for QoL features. Yes there is DIM, but to have a simple feature in game where we can quickly save a loadout to one of three or so would be great.
-
Yes please... really needed with all the mods.
-
DIM, ya bot!
