Can I switch cross save accounts?
My friend is coming over to my dorm and the only platform they've played D2 on is Steam. My original account was Playstation, but as of recently I've been using the game's cross save feature to play my Playstation characters on Google Stadia. Is it possible my friend to be able to play their steam characters on Stadia? Can I unlink my Stadia account for the weekend so my friend can play with their cross saves, or do I have to disable all of my cross saves and wait the 90 day period before I can do cross saves again? Thanks!

I would recommend that you do not make changes to your cross-save setup, as it will indeed mean locking your accounts out of cross-save for 90 days. This means that if you deactivated cross-save right now, you would not be able to use any of your accounts for another cross-save activation for 90 days. It is also not advised to link accounts that are not yours, as that can cause issues of its own. Your friend should be using only their own accounts, if they wish to activate cross-save. They can look into setting up their own Stadia account, if they wish to utilize cross-save to play on that platform. If the intent is to have a suitable gaming PC on hand, then they can simply login to their Steam account, and play as usual.

Hello. You will need to deactivate cross save and wait out the 90 days before it can be activated again. This would be your only choice if the Steam account is attached to your profile and is being shared. If he has his own account and Bungie profile, then he can set up his own cross save.
