What would be your suggestions for new Class Abilities?

One thing I would like to see back is solar wind melee on the warlock tree.

I miss the Solar Wind melee. It was the one reason why TT Dawn was my go to back before the change. Now I dont even use TT Dawn that much. I use mostly WOR or BT Dawn now.

Yessssssssss. The original TT Dawnblade melee was amazing and should have been put on a Void tree since it was taken from Voidwalker from D1.

I don't think anyone would complain about that being added, unless of course your a Titan or Hunter. Everyone complains about the warlock melee in general being weak, it just adds a buffer between punches vs hunters quicker melee. It stops shotgun apes from rushing you as well.

Warlock melee is weak though. You know how many times I have used the Ball Lightning melee and it does little to no damage with no real blast radius to only get killed by a Hunter or Titan using just a basic melee. It is sad. More times than not, the melees for the Warlock are more counter productive than productive. They are sluggish in animation and speed, lack any real sense of power and gets you killed more times than it helps. Oooo then someone brings up Dawnblade CF and I am like people are dumb. Celestial Fire or Dawnblade doesnt classify as a Warlock just like Stomp-EEs or shadestep doesnt classify as a Hunter. Those are abilities and exotics caters to the class itself and doesnt account for the rest of the subclasses, class or abilities that are lacking.

That's why I suggested it. Any knock back would at the very least help with the slow animation. Half the time I'm relying on my grenades as a spacer or to supplement damage. The warlock melee feels weak to me. The only one I find useful is top tree solar just because of the range ability.

This is why customization within the subclasses were much better sandbox wise because you could pretty much mix and match. Now we have this standalone checkbox that doesnt allow people to try different sub boxes together to mix and match for different playstyles. This system for subclasses is a flawed system within itself. It was designed to fail by default. No diversity so players will end up using what is the strongest.

The really sad part, and I've discussed this with my clan mates, is the old system coupled with this newer system could have worked out much better. If you allowed us to pick what we wanted within each subclass, like the original destiny, we could take full advantage of the mods. Which was not a thing in d1. Allowing us to pick the various abilities and mod out our gear will make for very interesting combos. Not to mention some of the exotics that are simply not used because they "aren't" the best option currently.

Thissssssss. See what I mean. You and your clan mates plus myself have identified many ways that this game lacking potential could become awoken. You used common sense and came up with a solution that is better suited for the game itself and they cant come up with ideas to make the game better. This is why I believe they are failing their community because they would rather implement their control on the game and what they think is best than to use any of the ideas we have came up with that would make the game better. It is crazy that in 2-3 years of D2 being out, they didnt think of the idea you and I have thought of. I have mentioned this similiar idea in a post from the past that stated the same thing. They dont want this game to succeed, they just want to make money. If players left the franchise alone when Beyond Light starts, it would be a rude awakening for this industry.

Then we have one from the darkness: stasis (blue). So we have blue, blue again, orange and purple. Maybe with the other two addons. Lightfall and Witchqueen we get the remaining two. If we assume light has 3 and therefore darkness becomes 3 as well. And for witchqueen and hive it would make thematically sense to get a subclass in the color green next. Doesn't have to be clichée like green is debuff/poison or grow/nature. It just has the color green and should be something completely new and unexpected. And maybe the last class would be black or dark blue (yes another blue, but everyone likes blue).

I wish titan shield was faster to put down and maybe bigger. Warlock empowering rift should increase range/reload/handling either 1 of these or a mix. Hunter dodge maybe slower caster or doesn't break aim assist.
