I moved two days ago, since the move Destiny will not load at all. I'm met with a box telling me to verify/validate the files (which I have... repeatedly), and sometimes the game completely closes. Sometimes I have gotten as far as to be travelling through orbit, sometimes I can't even get to the character selection screen. It was suggested perhaps it was an issue with my hard drive - that it'd been knocked during the move - however every other game runs perfectly. It's JUST Destiny 2. Things I have tried from what I have found online: - Updated all drivers - Error/health checked hard drive (all is good and healthy) - Looked for the "steam_app_id" file (did not have it) - Moved the GFSDK_Aftermath_Lib.dll file from the bin into the main folder - Deleted sku_config.txt and verified files (again) - Uninstalled and reinstalled - Uninstalled AGAIN through a third party uninstaller (Revo) and reinstalled - Checked I don't have any pending friend requests on steam (I didn't feelsbad - but also apparently this was actually a thing?) - Tried to change the Destiny2 file from "read only", though it wouldn't let me and kept bouncing back to having the "Read Only" box checked after I'd clicked Apply. I'm all out of ideas now other than throwing the whole PC out the window. I've also looked into the crash_info and it's come up with nothing particularly helpful (or at least, not to me - I'm relatively new to the whole PC thing), but perhaps someone else may be able to understand... something of it?
