FYI : Pull out your Horror Story and Braytech Werewolf from collections BEFORE Festival of the Lost!
Why you may ask? Well they are now updated versions to 1360 power cap with the Arrivals logo. Also they are nice rolls that may or may not drop after the event starts. Plus they are also already masterworked which is a bonus. Yes they are only 450 and not 600 rpm but still solid weapons. Disappointed to lose my kill trackers from the old versions, but that seems to be the theme going forward.

1 AntwortenI understand the pull out for both guns before “beyond light” (sunsetting, weapons at 1360,..) but why before “festival of the lost”? Did the perks change in collections?

Upvote for the information, much appreciated. I'm no fan of either weapon personally, but this is a good idea since who knows how the meta may change. 450s could be super strong after the next sandbox update. Who knows.

8 AntwortenAlso, pulling out Horror Story will give you two random scopes on it. As long as you dismantle after each pull that doesn't have the two scopes you want, the entire process will only cost you 7 Cores.

2 AntwortenThere is no harm in pulling one and banking it, but generally Bungie have given us the ability to keep static rolls as pullable from collections. I imagine the "new-current" versions that drop for this coming event will appear in collections as a separate entry. There has been a shift recently in how Bungie manage our collections long term now it's an established concept. Take Redrix's Claymore, we can now pull the static model but it may be added back into the loot pool later. As I say no harm in pulling one just in case but I wouldn't be panicking :)
