You wait a few minutes to find a match
Only to be met with a three-stack (maybe four of you're lucky!) and no one on your side so you've gotta search again...
(Mainly cause said group put you down faster than a rabid pup)

I try to at least be civil about it by waving first, but sometimes it doesn't work...
Usually in the ganks...
[spoiler]Anyways I just collected all 30 medals I needed for the Sunbro covenant, [i]praise the sun.[/i]
Honestly, I'd farm if I didn't have such low item discovery or such low patience to kill something over and over again when I could guarantee get it by successfully killing someone.
Next build, I'm putting all my points into Luck...
So, now I'm on to the next covenant.
I was suggested Mound Makers, but after a bit of digging, I realize Aldrich Faithful holds the only sorcery left for my trophy, so I'm doing Gank Guardians first, then the KillEveryone Kult.[/spoiler]

What's your favorite invasion spot(s)?
Mine is [b]Mausoleum Lookout [/b](Ringed City) and [b]Mountain Pass[/b] (AoAriandel) because if [b]I[/b] can't kill them,

5 AntwortenI had a few funny invasions, the area between anor londo and the pontiff bonfires in particular. A few times I got free embers just for joining because the host was already dead. Once somebody spawned right in front of the host I was dueling. Fought a dude using only a shield (we both agreed to a shield duel). Another time a host was chasing another invader on the bridges, so I rushed behind him to get a few hits in, but he panicked and dodge rolled off the map on accident. I mainly invade to keep a good supply of embers.

And if you don’t know, you still get rewarded for killimg phantoms or invaders, and there was this one NPC invasion I knew happened down the line, so I avoided the party and waited for it to happen. Before the NPC got to the players, I rushed and started attacking the invader, right? And then what do they do? The phantoms turn around and rush me, specifically, ignoring the NPC invader entirely. I wound up getting the NPC to basically no health, but never got the chance to finish him, and died before getting a reward. In other words, no, I do not like invading. -.-

5 AntwortenYou can use pale tongues to respec your build and put points into luck for farming, then use another to go back. You can do it 5 times per new game, but I read theres a glitch that let's you do it infinitely. Also stack Symbol of Avarice, Gold Serpent Ring, and rusty coins. The two Dark Wraiths near the bonfire before the Abyss Watchers drop pale tongues and the Ghru drop Swordgrass, so I just let them fight eachother and finish them off. If you don't need the pale tongues then there are 3 Ghru right next to the Keep Ruins bonfire aswell for faster farming. Those blue robed deacons drop Human Dregs for Aldritch Faithful. I farmed the 3 from Aldritchs boss fire. Silver Knights at the Anor Londo bonfire drop Proofs for Darkmoon. That farm sucks, but that Covenant is more of a pain. The spinny robed skelys in the Catacombs drop Vertebrae Shackles. I farmed from the bonfire near the second rolling ball. There's two down the entry tunnel. This farm also sucks and I think this Covenant is still active enough to just do legit. I also read when farming, log out and log back in every 10 minutes. It might just be a superstition, but it felt like it worked so whatevs. I did all of this shit not long ago so it's still fresh in my mind.

When that happens I generally book it out into the environment unless the host has seeds. Still lopsided but there might be options to inconvenience the gank squad. Carthus, Archives, Cathedral. So in cathedral, also the part of Anor Londo with the archers, it's possible to snipe with a great bow and knock hosts off ledges. Probably best paired with Obscuring ring... because range and the opponent needs to be positioned just so. I think in anor londo, as an invader, those silver knight archers are absolute Bros. Unless there's a seed in the equation. Then they're a buncha dinks as usual. Also anywhere that lends its self to Force, or Wrath of the Gods abuse. Bonus points if it's a good spot for chameleon. And spots where I can bait people with Silvercat Ring. It's not so common but hosts totally exist that are either dumb enough, or just want the kill to the point where they'll follow an invader over a ledge. To their death. The way I see it, Redbro invasions aren't duels so etiquette is out the flippin' window. Where the deck is generally stacked against the invader, guerilla tactics or asymmetrical warfare is generally my default strat. Now I'm not saying it's the best strat, because it probably isn't. But I find it engaging, and it feels good when it goes my way. [spoiler]Even as a redbro, any type of phantom that isn't a legit gold sunbro or blue should be treated as suspect.[/spoiler]
