I'm a little late to having watched the trailer, but I just saw the announcement trailer for the game.
[i]I am so excited for this.[/i]
Now, it's already exciting that Obsidian, one of the few devs out there with a positive reputation left, is making what many are calling their "Skyrim", but that's not even the best part!
It's set in [i]Eora[/i], a world that some of us have already visited. Eora is home to the two Pillars of Eternity games, which were isometric rpgs that were essentially love letters and callbacks to the old Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale era of games. It is immensely fun, and in my opinion, the best rpg for story and player choice in nearly a decade.
Getting to see all the awesome locales of Eora in a first person, fully realized form will be awesome, and I hope they keep the dnd inspired classes and abilities, but if not, it doesn't matter much, as it is a new property and not PoE proper.

It's certainly looks like something to keep an eye on. Lets hope it delivers.

I like the idea of a Obsidian fantasy RPG but without knowing anything about the game I can’t really get that excited about it. The Outer Worlds was okay but not really that memorable. I doubt I’ll even get the Xbox to be honest.

1 AntwortenNo depreciation to Outer Worlds, but I’m hoping this is a BIG (content-wise) game, much like some older Oblivion titles like New Vegas. Can’t wait to see more.

1 AntwortenThe trailer showed essentially a knight using magic or at least an incantation so I wonder if you just play as that one character or if there will be several characters to choose from, but yes it does look great and just like you when I saw Obsidian I was like " Aww Shit!"
