Since then, they're working on another game and have independent contractors working on this one, they put a terrible director in charge, the game is filled with bugs, they keep recycling and reskinning old content, anything decent is locked behind $10 microtransactions, and they keep raising the power level requiring you to do the same things over and over and over a billion times, and a lot of times it's all for nothing because what you get is based on RNG. At the end of each season whatever you were upgrading goes away, and they're sunsetting your favorite weapons and making you regrind for them again. So yeah, I'd stay away from this franchise.

Thanks to sunsetting, the only activities from Forsaken/Shadowkeep that will be relevant moving forward will be raids, exotic quests, and PoH/Nightmare Hunts for pinnacle-level gear. Unless you REALLY care the raids, exotics and maxing out your light level, you honestly don't need the expansions.
