My thought is that this is like every other "competitive" activity Bungie has ever brought to the series. Not competitive, unenjoyable, easily cheesed, and ultimately a waste of time.

I like how the OP thinks it's the Titans fault for having a lead when in reality it's the Hunter and Warlock mains fault. They are the ones who are remaking Titans to be their Gold medal farm mule to exploit the Triumphs. Why delete their main class for it if they can delete and use their less favorite class? It's just like when Hunters and Warlocks complain that Titans are overpowered after they get killed by one, yet they resist making or playing their own Titan. Because they know they hate how it plays, how it has no mobility, and because they know they will have terrible matches with terrible KDR's.

Titan mains are not deleting their main characters. That's ridiculous and the suggestion shows a lack of understanding of the game. Are you willing to delete your main character for a medal? This narrative, created by butthurt Hunters, is nonsense. You want to know why titans are so far ahead? Go ask the warlock and hunter mains who are deleting their titans. They are the reason.

It angers me to no end that because titans are in the lead due to cheating, that us other titans who choose to play fairly will also be punished and shamed for it, i was really looking forward to a friendly competition between guardians, and a toxic minority has ruined that for the fair majority.

Hunters were far in the lead at the beginning, until the glitch was discovered. How many of those Hunters began to delete their Titans, over and over, to get the exotic weapon, not caring one iota if Titans sprang into a 'glitched' lead?

You know there's a LOT more reasons for titans being in the lead than just, "titans use this glitch the most". Like that fact that majority of players in destiny are usually hunters which means if said players didn't like the event and decided not to play then that's a lot of hunters not contributing. Or it could be that people that didn't care about the event but wanted the weapon just selected Titan Everytime because it's the first option in the create character.

“Titans know of it most” I mean, maybe? Point being this exploit isn’t class specific. Depending on how the medals are weighted if the 20% of titans and 20% of hunters use this exploit for the same amount of time. Results wouldn’t be effected. The exploit is useable by everyone
