With all of this new gear coming out, there’s barely any space for any of it. For example, I love the iron banner gear, but I’m running out of Vault space for all the cool looking armor sets I have. I think one of two things should be done.
1) Increase the Vault space. With all of the new gear, there’s barely any room for weapons and armor that we like if we have it all from long ago.
2) Make gear we’ve obtained from the previous year obtainable from collections. We won’t need to worry about storing it all in the vault if we can just get it back from collections. I know that we can’t get it because of random rolls, but maybe they can make it so that the one you get from collections is a set roll. I’m only saying this for gear from the year prior, since gear from the current year is obtainable whenever, but say there’s a weapon that someone had to get rid of for space or accidentally got rid of from the year prior, it may not be their god roll, but it’s still something! Just a little thing for collectors y’know?

"All this new gear'?!?! Dude what the hell have you been smoking and where do i get some??

I have all 3 characters every exotic armor viable on them as well as 9 slots for each slot of weapons! All y1 weapons are scrapped as they can be reaquired at any moment! Same for Exotics weapons that I barley use! I hardly have any duplicates weapons and only keep viable rolls and I have only 208 slots used in my entire vault!

New gear.........?

Carrying charcoal to Newcastle... We have asked for this already 1.000 times. You won't get any reply from Bungie but many from nice fellow Guardians telling you STOP HOARDING!!! and just dismantle all that overhead.

To all the people that say "stop hoarding"--go play Halo. Apex, Call of Duty, whatever. Destiny isn't that. It's a LOOTER SHOOTER. A loot COLLECTION game. Go get rid of your favorite pair of shoes. Stop eating different food, you only need a small variety to survive. Some of us HAVE REASONS for wanting to keep things, even if many of you can't muster the forthought to imagine why that would be. Here's a different take. I recently got a forum ban. Someone wanted new Gambit maps. I hate Gambit, so said some things which didn't need to be said. And why? Let him enjoy Gambit. It doesn't affect me at all. Much like the Vault issue. If you choose to keep a small collection, great! But don't presume to tell others how to live. Otherwise you may get a rude awakening one day when the tables are turned.

It would be easy if you could just Transmog everything. But no, I had to acquire an entire new set of armor just to use the new Monarchy lion head ornaments I got Y1. I run 3 characters, have full sets of Escalation Protocol, seasonal armor, Solstice armor, iron banner armor, raid armor sets from most raids, raid weapons and stuff from dissapeaing seasons, you know... weapons you can no longer get because the season is gone. I'm constantly at 495-500 in my vault and pushed into deleting things I didnt want to delete just to make room for new content. A 50-100 slot increase would be nice

Regardless of accusing people of "hoarding" there is one simple fact: Stuff is constantly being added to the game and vault space is frozen in time from a year and a half ago. That is not reasonable. If not actual vault space, they need to at least implement something to address this, like: -Turning old armor skins into universal ornaments. -Making it so you can "store" the roll you choose for each (UNUSABLE, USELESS) "collection" slot. -Make a way that you can "build up" weapons so that they can eventually have multiple choices in each column, eliminating the need for multiple rolls of one weapon. -Improve the RNG so that certain items aren't so insanely low-probability that they can never reasonably be obtained again. Hell, if Bungie wants to cry about the cost and how it "can't be done..." I would literally pay 10 dollars for another 100 slots.

Bearbeitet von Smough: 3/27/2020 3:41:31 PMYou see that weapon or armor that you have 20 of each with different rolls all of which you never use and likely forgot about? You also see all those items that you can easily pull out of collections? Delete those. All of a sudden you’ll realize that storage space isn’t an issue if you don’t hoard every single item you get.

Bearbeitet von TJ_Dot: 3/28/2020 2:17:07 AMJust a word to the "wise", nobody is asking for advice on storage. So stop patronizing everybody who wants space.

If you have any exotics in your vault, dismantle them now. Collections can get them back.
-
Stop hoarding. :/ you know what bad and what’s not. So stop horsing useless gear.
-
No need to increase vault space. However I would say if they made all armor as ornaments that would help some of you toilet paper hoarders

lol yr a ingame hoarder

I have this problem a lot too and here's my solution to make some quick vault space: -Open up your Collections tab, go to Exotics, and look at the Power Level of all of your Exotic Weapons. -Go into your Vault and delete exotic weapons that are LOWER than the power level of the exotics that you can pull from your collections. You'll lose the stat tracker, but you'll be able to make SO much more space.
