at power 750, dont know what to do
we are at power level 750 when we took a break. We thought to play again now there is the new shadowkeep campaign but it is far too difficult, the early quest "Raising our defenses" has us attacking ?? guys and they simply one-shot us.
The online websites are confusing with talk of "seasons" and it looks like "Season of the drifter" is the next one fo us, but I don't see that available, my quest log only shows a category of "seasonal" and the only quest in it is the "raising our defenses" quest
Any help would be greatly appreciated, there are the random public events but it would be nice to follow a storyline

Do you have the season pass and shadow keep and expansions as if you are missing any your power won't go up any further unfortunately

Hey if u on Xbox I'd be more than happy to help, if on ps4 I can help come end of next week, need to get paycheck for ps+, Or might have a friend who will help, he needs to do the shadowkeep campaign as well, but is 960+

Spend crucible/vanguard tokens if you're not soft capped. All gear received during season of undying before 900 have huge light levels boosts. It's a good idea to just keep buying gear from shaxx/zavala to raise your cap until the boosts starts to stagnate.

THanks guys, we purchased the Shadowkeep expansion and assumed it would lead us through a series of quests. It looks like it assumes you have been upgrading your power all along and are in the 900's for it. We will give it a try, I want to see the new content! Mark

8 AntwortenBearbeitet von conkus805: 3/20/2020 2:45:28 AMI was in the same boat a few days ago, just run some strikes and get your light up, you can get to soft cap (950) within a day or two without much grinding. then either buy the season so you can do the content or farm prime engrams/exotics. although I have yet to get an exotic to drop, if they even world drop anymore. you can also run the few intro story missions for shadowkeep and warmind but you will hit a point (quickly I might add) that you need to buy the season to do anything really worth doing. once at higher light you can try the new public events on the moon and edz. that's about it for the free content you can do without buying the seasons.

1 AntwortenI'm not surprise that this can be very confusing for some people with Bungie constantly changing a lot of things over period of times. I do not know how much you have done in the game, however I'd encourage you to speak with Zavala to learn basic about strikes (make sure to read the quest since it'll tell you what to do next). Or if you just want to focus on story (Red War, Warmind, etc.), speak with Amanda Holiday at the tower (home). Although it can be very overwhelming with everything throwing over your head, I'd just take my time to finish (one at a time) and go from there.
