Destiny 1 year 1 was amazing. The game was new and different and it had a bunch of exciting things to chase after. Crota’s End, vault of glass, prison of elders were fun and achievable; they were hardly ever frustrating and gave great loot and you could grind them on all characters in just a few hours) There were a lot of good weapons to chase after (ice breaker, vex mytho, jelly, fatebringer, black hammer pre nerf, even no land was fun) Yes, these guns were better than most, but it gave something for people to chase after, and when they got it, it was exciting enough that youtubers posted videos when they got it (gjallahorn specifically) because it was that exciting. There were a lot of weapons people slaughtered after that were good for different situations. Now, all D2 is about is the same old loot and the same old weapons. No one exotic or legendary is so amazing that everyone is chasing after it for a specific reason because everything has been nerfed to the point of being the same old gray weapon. Please Bungie, bring back the glory days! Magical weapons that actually felt powerful, raids and events that were doable, repeatable, and fun!
