TL;DR is SBMM is fine stop crying about it sweats.
No it's not
That out of the way high impact fusions DO NOT NEED NERFED ! Wanna nerf high impact fusions nerf shotguns first.
Actually shotguns, snipers and fusions are all due for nerfs imo

Make special ammo crates and scavenger perks effect them and no special drop on death.

Or buff primaries.

No. SBMM is not ok. People who actually want to chill cannot, because everyone is tryharding.
-
By "chill" you mean mindlessly pubstomp folks? Sorry but had enough of that bullshit. SBMM can stay. Dont worry trials will be back and you can go sweat over there.
-
Pubstomping did not happen that often. You're just bad
-
Pubstomping happens all the time with CBMM. Streamers dont speak for the whole player base. SBMM is far more enjoyable. I dont want to face off with PVP gods I have zero chance of beating. Rather face folks of similar skill and have even close matches.
-
Pubstomping happens all the time with CBMM.
No it doesnt
Streamers dont speak for the whole player base.
Yes but 50% of players do, and everyone in the above 50% of the base prefer cbmm
SBMM is far more enjoyable.
No its not
I dont want to face off with PVP gods I have zero chance of beating. -
Most "pvp gods" do not want to sweat 24/7 either, but are forced to with sbmm
No. SBMM is not ok. People who actually want to chill cannot, because everyone is tryharding.
These people who want to 'chill'... who do they want to fight in PvP exactly, if not people who are of equal or equivalent skill and experience level as them? Do they want easier kills, against less skilled, or less experienced players? Because if that's the case... logically, those less skilled, less experienced players would also want the same thing: to be able to 'chill' by playing against people even less skilled, less experienced than they themselves are. And then the only people who get screwed are the people who are so unskilled, and so inexperienced in PvP, that there literally is no one worse than they are, and they will just be constantly farmed by anyone better than them, never learning to get better, never getting to practice against people of like skill and experience, and will quickly end up quitting, leading to the next higher skilled/experienced people to get stomped by those better than them, and so forth and so on. That's the only possible logical extrapolation of that scenario, until there is no one left except the highest skilled/most experienced players, who will just end up sweating against each other anyway, because there's no one else left. That's no way to grow a PvP playerbase, it's a quick way to destroying it. Skill-based matchmaking is the only fair method of setting up matches so that everyone has fun, even if the matches are sweaty at the highest levels of play. And really, the very best players will not have to sweat, even against players who are just as good as them, just because they are that good that playing against people as good as they are, simply doesn't pose a problem for them, and if anything, being challenged to play their best is how they 'chill'. Anyone who has to 'sweat' to beat someone of the same skill level and experience as themselves, really isn't as good as they think they are.

The people who want to "chill" usually want to complete bounties without any hassle, or just want to experiment with builds that may or may not be good. Against actual sweaty unbrokens, this simply is not possible. It is not fun. In opulence, the matchmaking was great. There would be one or two people sweating per game at most, with everyone else just playing normally. It was great balance, and the meta was slightly better.
-
Well to the point on testing builds...a private match should accommodate that need. If the lack of "friends" is an issue then maybe some feedback on adding something either to the "private match" mode, or the tribute hall is needed. As for wanting to complete bounties, if that is the objective definition of "chill without a hassle", then maybe the bounties should be adjusted more around the objective gameplay in Crucible? i.e.: Capturing a zone, getting X number of crests, winning one game, getting a super kill, etc. Leave the gun kills and such, to Banshee. He's the one to give you gun calibration bounties. At least it defines what bounties you are getting, and should be a more clear concept of what one is getting themselves into, lest they already know that now.

No. Testing builds is most effective against normal people.
No. Testing builds is most effective against normal people.
Oh... Well alright, define normal people then.

Bearbeitet von X-LoganX: 1/7/2020 2:22:01 AMThe problem is no one actually wants to chill. They okay sweaty meta all the time. They're all hypocrites.
-
No that is the opposite. The people who want to "chill" are the no life sweats and what is "chilling" for them is hunched over sweating your butt try harding times 4 for the other team. CBMM = bad SBMM = good.
-
No. This is simply not true. The only reason why you think all they do is sweat is because they have to. One person starts using a sweaty loadout and sweats, and to keep up, everyone has to. Chain reaction. I suppose I am a no life sweat according to you, even though I try and stay AWAY from the meta as much as possible.
-
If there is a meta so restrictive and OP that you're forced to swap to it if even one person on the opposing team is using it, then there is a game balance issue, not a matchmaking issue.
-
It is both. While the meta is still stupid, the matchmaking only amplifies this.
