I'm curious to know what are some perspectives on where Uldren might be introduced back into the story and what role he may be playing??
It's hard to make assumptions seeing as he burned quite a few bridges before his death, killing his fellow awoken, the whole dreaming city ordeal and of course the killing of cayde....
What does everyone think?

My favourite part was when there was this giant monster that looked like a very big, green guy and Ultron sliced him into pieces and he grunted like a pig. However, it did not kill him, so Ultron shot laser beams out of his body at the monster and the green thing was vaproized into a bright white ball while screaming: “NOOOOOOOO!” So unreal! So excited! MEGA FAN!

Bearbeitet von Grays_KS27: 12/9/2019 9:53:26 PMI certainly think Uldren wasn’t a pleasant person, but I respect him as a character. I don’t like how he’s an unreasonably op character, though. I feel bad for him because of how Mara treated him. She thought being distant and secretive was the best way to make him love her, and he suffered because of it. He loved his sister and his people. I love his story and what happened to him after Taken King and in Forsaken, with Riven corrupting him. He certainly hated that the Awoken allied with Humanity, but I blame Riven’s corruption for his murders of his own people and everything he did in Forsaken. Mara always kept Uldren in the dark, not telling him her plans or secrets, which was a huge factor in his susceptibility to Riven’s whispers when he thought Mara was dead. Now that he’s a Risen, he is a different person and I’m just eager to see what becomes of him. Certainly the characters will have an interesting reaction to seeing him as a Risen.

This isn’t technically uldren anymore. Well, not the one we knew. He has no memories of his former life, and most likely doesn’t even talk or think the same way he used to. For all we know, we could’ve been an even worse person than he was before our ghost found us.
-
I’d like to think that my guardian is smart enough to understand that the Uldren we’ll eventually meet isn’t the Uldren we used to know. I’d love to see him as an ally if possible.
-
Uldren killed Cayde, so I'm happy to keep Pulled Pork busy rezzing him, over, and over, and over. He may have forgotten, but we have not.
-
I have no issues. He was manipulated and corrupted. Reviving wipes your memory so he gets a second chance on a short leash.
-
I’d do em
-
He’s a snotty little brat, I need to stomp

The Uldren that killed Cayde no longer exists. I feel sad for the guardian that the new lore entry details.
-
I hope nobody in the story would be stupid enough to hold a guardian wearing his face accountable for what he did when he was alive.

Bearbeitet von Supertide: 12/9/2019 8:52:01 PMWell.. my reasoning - and it may be unpopular or vapid or shallow - is that Uldren is the Very Hot, high key dank, proper scrum, and gen excellent, or whatever, and they can introduce him back into the story at any point and with any role and I myself would be real pleased and happy with it
-
I liked Cayde as he was the funniest out of the Vanguard. Though I'd kill Uldren out of revenge for Cayde tbh. A Guardian or not.
-
If he steps foot in the Tower then Ikora and Zavala are gonna pull an Undying Mind on him.
-
Two bullets. One for his ghost, one for him. Dude is an asshat.
-
The guy who murdered our most loved Vanguard next to Ikora? He should’ve stayed dead. In fact, I won’t hesitate to put a Devourer bullet into Pulled Pork and then into Uldren. Kill him off for good.
-
Who? Oh right, that guy bungie built up then completely forgot about and abandoned.

<I know storywise we'll go through that whole "I'm gonna kill him" thing till we eventually get used to him, but as for me? I say bring him in. Forsaken's story threw Uldren up from one of my least favorite characters up to one of my favorites. Uldren's story now has so much potential, and I want to see where it goes. Plus, kinda felt bad for him. Yes I still would've killed him at the end of the campaign, but not out of hate or spite. The dude was too far gone, and I think even he realized that.>
-
I’m really excited to meet him! Uldren has had almost as many memory wipes as your average exo at this point, and he changes a little through each one. Though what stays consistent is he seems to be loyal as all hell and a great shot each time, so I’m betting he’ll make a wonderful guardian. I’m looking for a new friend and to help him with redemption if needed, we already got justice. I don’t want anymore risen to die.
-
I think I will have another sip of bourbon and a Colorado pull
-
I really wish I didn’t have to kill that dude should’ve been an option like the irrelevant drifter storyline where you don’t shoot

Bearbeitet von CresterOts: 12/10/2019 12:16:41 AMHopefully he doesn't get the usual Bungie treatment of potential interesting characters. Ghaul got Boba Fetted. Speaker died falling on his face. Vance was a giddy over the top fanboy Osiris was portrayed a bumbling fool Panoptes Anna Bray ditched fellow Guardians at Twilight Gap to pursue her own personal agendas Nokris Crassk (House Kings Kell got killed off screen along with the entire House) Barons were a failed attempt at ''personal'' villains.
-
Like Gohan from DBZ, Uldren was mostly wasted potential. Could've done a lot more cool things with him than what we actually got. At least an epic final shootout with the guy himself instead of a space meatball...
-
He was a wasted character. He could potentially be interesting, but he’s a half baked “villain” who was possessed by a space testicle. As for his action of killing Cayde, I really don’t care as there is no reason for me to care, unless I’m a hunter. In which case he killed my vanguard and that crime is punishable by death. However I’m not a hunter.

Yes. A lot.
