I have been desperately trying to get my account migrated with my DLC for weeks, and the length of time I spent trying to resolve this problem on this forum with Bungie has led to me loosing money.
My migration to steam failed and an empty account was associated with my steam profile. When I try to log in with my primary steam account it asks me if I even have a Bungie account. I did nothing wrong as far as I can tell, it just failed. Bungie's only solution to this is to tell me to tie this to a new steam account. My only problem is I pre-ordered Shadowkeep on steam and it is outside of the return period and Valve won't give me a return. Now my forsaken DLC is associated with my blizzard account. So there is now no way for me to get my DLC on my account without either Bungie's help or buying it again (NOPE). Surely you guys talk to Valve, maybe you can help with the refund.
So please Bungie help me. Don't just give me the copy and pasted response of "make a new steam account and buy it again." I am a customer who could really use some help and no one is giving me real responses. I even hand delivered a letter to Bungie's office (the security guards are nice guys) as a means of getting meaningful communication instead of copy and pasted forum responses. They didn't respond. I don't care which account gets the other DLC purchase on it, I just can't pay for it twice.
So here is the summary.
- Steam migration failed - NO ACCOUNT IS ACTUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH MY STEAM.
- Shadowkeep DLC on steam - NON-REFUNDABLE
- Blizzard Account Forsaken DLC and character progress - IN LIMBO
So can you manually transfer or give me credit for one of these useless DLC purchases. Its not my fault this didn't work. I paid you for a product and I havn't gotten it, which is theft. Does Bungie really have no empathy? I just want to have at least one account that I can use. I guess if I"m out my Shadowkeep purchase I can at least come and talk to your security guards again and sit outside with a big sign for a few hours. I have extra time, just not extra money and this whole thing has made me grumpy enough to make a nice big poster.
I honestly don't expect a favorable reply. I have never in my life received poorer customer support and communication from a company, especially a gaming company I love. Please help me salvage this. I'm sorry if this post is a little poorly written, this whole situation has just been upsetting.
