I must’ve either had a way better team in Moon or Sword is just way harder, because I’m getting destroyed.

Really? All my pokemon besides the ones I just caught are super overlevelled. Though I have spent more time than I probably should’ve in the Wild Area. What’s your team?
-
I spent over 3 hours in the wild area when I first got to it and my pokemon were all like level 30 before the first gym lol.
-
I name all my Pokémon, so it’d be hard to say without looking it up, and I can’t access my Switch at the moment. It is worth noting I have spent almost no time in the Wild Area, though. I can tell you what was the worst Pokémon on my team though. Yamask! Couldn’t get anything done. Shame, too, because I really wanted to keep him on my team, but I kicked him off in favor of Galarian Meowth’s evolution who I’ve yet to try in combat yet. Since you spent a while in the Wild Area, though, I have to ask; have you seen a Mawile, yet? The Wild Area seems to be the place to catch most classic Pokémon, and if Mawile’s down there I’d like to know where to look, and what weather.

Bearbeitet von epicperon: 11/17/2019 7:51:06 AMYeah Yamask is pretty bad. Though its evolution I’ve heard is one of the best pokemon in the game. However, it has some really weird requirement to meet in order to evolve that I know nothing about, so I can’t really help you there. As for Perrserker, I don’t really know much about it either. I’m trying to not look up that many things to enjoy the game more. Though I do remember glancing over its stats and deeming it pretty decent. And for the wild area, sorry but I have no idea. I just stay around the lower level parts for now and look for raids that don’t have hail. The one time I did happen to wander to a higher levelled area I encountered a Gastly that was high enough level to run through my team. But thanks to its bad AI, Nicket was able to dispatch it and get a bunch of xp for my team. Mawile could actually just be later on in the game. It seems a lot of past gen pokemon are mixed with the newer ones on routes.

Yeah, he’s definitely staying off my team, then!
And for the wild area, sorry but I have no idea. I just stay around the lower level parts for now and look for raids that don’t have hail. I had a Ghost type out, so just whittled away its health while it couldn’t touch me. Then it decided “Okay, that’s enough” amd wiped my whole team. A lot of classics are in the Wild Area, though, so thought I’d ask in case I just missed it!

To evolve Yamask it must take at least 49 damage or more total in one battle, be at least lvl 32, then you have go run underneath a certain stone formation in the Dusty Bowl of the wild area. It's a massive pain in the ass, but I can confirm that it's evolution Runerigus is amazing.
-
You could’ve put that in a spoiler in case I wanted to figure out on my own. : /
-
Oops my bad lol. But if you somehow managed to figure that out by yourself I'd be amazed lol.
-
Yeah, no idea how you are. There’s gotta be a hint somewhere in thr game.
-
An npc somewhere probably says something lol.

Bearbeitet von Ace Night Owl: 11/17/2019 2:00:02 PMI went ahead and checked the way it evolves and it’s really weird. It’s in the spoiler.
Make sure your Yamask has more than 50 total HP. Bring Yamask into battle, and let it sustain 49 damage Take Yamask to the Dusty Bowl in the Wild Area Travel beneath the largest stone arch here. As soon as you go beneath the arch, Yamask should evolve into Runerigus!
-
49+ or exactly 49?
-
49+. The first article wasn’t clear about that.
-
That’s definitely the weirdest evolution requirements I’ve ever seen. Pokemon db just says it evolves “near Dusty Bowl” lol
-
Have you seen how to evolve Farfetch'd? It's also really pretty odd lol.
-
Isn’t that one just “sweep 3 things in one battle”?
-
You gotta get 3 crits in one fight.
-
Isn’t the Stick in the game? Just teach it slash or something lol. That seems easier to figure out than “have this certain amount of health so you can take at least this certain amount of damage at this certain level then take it to this specific place”.
-
Oh yeah it's way easier than Yamask lol. Still very odd evolution requirement though.
-
Huh.. Well, I might go evolve him then. See if his evolution is any better. That’s the reason I wanted him on my team after all!
-
Runerigus has fantastic stats. It definitely looks like it’ll do well
-
I saw him in one of the trailers, and when I saw Yamask I immediately knew that’s how he evolved. He looks so cool! I need him!
