I started the game through steam without creating a Bungie account on the 10th, and was able to play normally until today. I created a bungie account and linked it with my steam account two days ago and didn't try logging back in until an hour ago. When logging in I get an error message of "trying to connect to the Destiny 2 servers." My character data still loads and I can see my gear, but when I try to get further into the game (either by attempting to go to a specific destination or just by leaving the game open) I get logged out. I don't have access to a wired connection and the internet is completely stable. The most likely problem is either the companion application or something getting messed up when I linked my Steam account to my newly created Bungie account.
