Honestly snipers shouldnt have flinch to begin with. However, they should also have near non existent Aim Assist... think halo

I'm sorry, snipers shouldn't have flinch to begin with? Your argument is immediately invalid because you have no sense of pvp balance.
-
-
I don't think this argument holds when aim assist is borderline pointless on PC. For console? Sure, it helps a lot. But on PC, bullet magnetism is much more of an influence on whether or not you hit your shots than aim assist. That said, I do think they should do the same thing you're proposing, but with different factors depending on the platform.
-
Magnetism is part of Aim Assist. Aim assist consists of Auto Aim/Snapping Magnetism Friction Acceleration 343 released a video fully explaining and showing you first hand how Aim Assist works. Yes PC has Aim Assist.
-
If you'll read my post again, you'll see that I didn't say aim assist didn't exist on PC. I said that magnetism specifically is emphasized on PC, which is totally is.
-
Halo has super high aim assist on snipers
-
Halo 4 and 5? Yes. Halo 3? No
-
So basically you want to be them to be completely useless.
-
You require high AA on weapons for them to be useful? Halo 3 sniper rifle had like 2.4 AA and was far from useless
-
In halo, the only things that had speed were the vehicles in destiny you have people jumping all over the place.
-
So you need high AA for your inability to aim..
-
No you need high aim assist to compensate for people jumping around this isn’t like pc where everything is way more accurate.
-
Um hello? Destiny 2 is on PC too in case you forgot.
-
I know that’s why I said this isn’t like pc.
-
And why exactly did you say it? Aim assist is a thing on PC as well.
-
It’s not as prevalent
-
I can shoot NF like a feet away off target and still hit my shots. Aim assist is just as good on PC as it is on console. The only difference is that console has crosshair stickiness.
-
No the reason your able to do that is because pc doesn’t have bloom unlike console which does have bloom.
-
Both console and PC have Magnetism

Bearbeitet von wizard0426: 11/17/2019 10:47:10 PMI know bullet magnetism is nowhere as strong on PC compared to consoles.
-
For your argument with Halo. It is still easy as hell to snipe players out of moving vehicles with a sniper that only has 4 AA.
-
Really then why don’t people in halo use snipers more often then
-
Wow, judging by that response you’ve never played halo or else you would know that it spawns at a specific location on a specific spawn timer.
-
So if it only spawns at a specific location and it’s easy to shoot people at of vehicles then clearly it has more than 4aa
-
Bearbeitet von o Apollyon o: 11/19/2019 1:40:47 AMLol... you’ve never played halo 3 The sniper has 1 degree auto aim and 4 degree magnetism. Now covert that to percent it it is 1.11 repeating. Compare that to any snipe in destiny and oh my god lol
