Bearbeitet von DiZ: 11/6/2019 8:46:30 PMPre-nerf Ram was almost like spawning in with an Overshield. It'd change the TTK of many primaries(or at least require more precision to achieve the same optimal TTK), and make any Warlock Super unkillable by one person through normal means(point-blank Shotty melee combo, Sniper headshot, etc.). Even certain one-shot abilities wouldn't kill a "Ramlock", such as Bladedancer's Flux Grenade or Striker's Shoulder Charge until it was changed towards the end of the final year. Did it give wallhacks and a (borderline completely) negligible damage buff? No. But it did give you meaningful extra health for every engagement(compared to the actual Armor/Resilience stat), allowing you to win or escape ones you shouldn't have like OEM's common overshield currently does. It also guaranteed wins in melee fights(provided you were on Voidwalker) against everyone but Strikers and the occasional Bladedancer "Frontstab"(as well as against other Ramlock Voidwalkers). I'd ideally rather both not exist/return.

Bearbeitet von Darknorth: 11/6/2019 10:25:50 PMYou make an excellent valid point. Intellectually I agree with what you say. I know an eye for an eye makes the world blind but I am a bit personally disappointed in the fact Warlocks don't currently have an exotic that is capable of being just as potent as OEM. So would I like a Ram to return to previous levels? Well....
yes.
But would it break the crucible the same way it had before? Yes. The same way OEM did last year.
And don't worry about me not knowing what it was like. I was that Ramlock during the HoW era, haha.
Oh no, you've triggered my "Vietnam flashbacks" of Luck in the Chamber, Wormwood, "No Flinch Beyond," and sticky nades by saying that! *starts seizing uncontrollably*
