Making exotic drops pinnacle is an incorrect solution to a current problem. The problem is that there is too much RNG in the drops from end game activities. The sources for drops are good, however, it takes roughly 21 drops on average to get all 8 slots a +1 drop, not including the raid is heavily weighted towards heavy weapons. I think a better solution would be to change how much of a bump pinnacle drops give. My proposed solution would be to give a +1 drop to your [u]average power level rounding down at half[/u] rather than your [u]average power level rounding down[/u]. Essentially, this would require 5 items to be +1 before you start getting drops at the next power level. This would mean 7-8 pinnacle drops on average from 950-951, then something around 7-14 pinnacle drops for levels 951+, which could be decreased by getting other powerful drops to fill in the gaps. This type of system would still allow for a grind to 960, but make it a little more based on gameplay and less on RNG to get a heavy weapon.
