What if Anti-Barrier Rounds, Unstoppable Rounds, Disruption Rounds all were potential perks in weapons? Unstoppable Champions, Barrier Champions and so on are all here to stay so it's likely that next Seasons artifact will have related mods but for different weapon types. Seems like a reasonable assumption. This is just going to continue the current trend where 'endgame' activities pretty much ask players to either coordinate specifically amongst each other on who is carrying what anti-Champion weapon, or everyone uses the specifically available weapon types. It's not a bad concept these Champions and related mods, and the idea of having pseudo-roles within a group to hard-counter specific enemies is a neat little evolution of energy-type matching shields. ..but what if these mods were also perks able to be rolled in relevant weapons? The Moon weapons for example, any one of them could roll with these perks. Love and Death could roll with Unstoppable Rounds, Tranquility could roll with Anti-Barrier Rounds. The Garden weapons could roll with these perks. The artifact mods would remain as select methods of hard-countering the Champions while relevant weapons could potentially have the perks baked in allowing players to continue to use a variety of arsenal choices without feeling like they are being shoe-horned into specific weapon types.
