The amount of ammo champions absorb is pretty ludicrous to begin with, but the fact that champions automatically regenerate health at a ridiculous rate if you’re not consistently disrupting them, is just too much.
Considering that console players have to wait up to a minute at times for their inventories to even load, it’s starting to look like the only legitimate strategy as a solo player is to run two primaries with different effects, meaning bursting champions down isn’t an option apart from Heavy or supers.
I’ve already had multiple nightfalls completely ruined because people are hitting brick walls on these things and just dropping out. While you can skip some of the champions, not all are avoidable, and you forfeit extra rewards at the end.
I understand the desire to add challenge and unique mechanics into strikes, and admittedly, if I had a premade group that coordinated this wouldn’t be such a major issue, but solo players don’t always have that luxury. Not only that, but if you want to do anything other than run FIVE strikes in a row for your milestone, you have to run at the higher difficulties, which is just impossible without coordinated loadouts.
Maybe it would be better if they didn’t regenerate health except for at master level? Down at the 920 level tho, it just seems too much.

It’s funny to see like 5 of them chasing one person in the Vex Offensive. You just know there’s nothing he can do except die.
