Ace of Spades Catalyst seems to be not that great =/
Reading of a more powerful Dragonfly Effect combined with Memento Mori excited me, but in the reality, it's not that great.
Both in PvP and PvE I barely noticed the difference and also other people told me that they felt the same. It seems that the blast radius of Dragonfly remains the same and the damage, yes, it is increased, but not that much to make some kind of difference...
Is this just for me?

Orbs on double kills and it felt crisp from the getgo. I see no problem.

I think the orbs is the main benefit. I haven't checked but if all kills, including from Firefly, count towards orb creation, it's going to be a lot of orbs while mowing mobs during strikes. Already, it's the best long-range HC, as Crimson's spray kills it's effective range. All other major HC's, besides Eriana's, are mid-range. Which means, it'll always so more damage between mid to top range.

I wish the catalyst would make it like it was in d1, every crit kill put a round back in the mag.

The real bonus is the orbs. It's already a reliable weapon and anything else would've led it to over-perform.

I'ved gotten doubles with it in PvP though. 86 damage reduces the number of shots needed to kill with memento mori if they're even so much as scratched beforehand.

Orbs is the biggest bonus. Firefly was already waaaaay better than Dragonfly.

It's pretty decent in PvE against trash ads. It's atleast noticable, I'd say it's downfall is it's an exotic and with all the exotic power weapons to choose from it probably won't get chosen over those. I still enjoy using Ace when I'm patrolling.

The damage buff is very noticeable. Radius, not so much.
