Let me get this straight: If you use a gamepad/controller over mouse and keyboard, you will be on a disadvantage at any time. The reasons are simple: - Controllers have more recoil than a M/K user so we are already affected with a lower precision overall. - Controllers have less precise direction control due to the sticks (compared to the mouse) - Controllers do have different gunplay than M/K users. - Some people (like me) can't play shooters with a mouse and a keyboard due to our hanycaps or other reasons like being lefthanded (in my case, both). So, what I want to ask for is: - Removing the gun difference for Controllers. All guns should behave like while using M/K. - Reducing the Input delay (if possible) (Sometimes melee Buttons don't react as fast as M/K) - Removing the always-on-demand switch between M/K and Controller. Instead put settings for that in gameplay subsection in the game settings where we can chose the imput device. (optional) Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with people playing mouse and keyboard but it is a bit unfair for people like me who can't play on keyboards with a mouse. If I would, I would have consistently missclicks during play. Besides that, my playing speed wouldn't be as good as it is on controller. On my controller, the missclick chance is somewhere below 0,1% while on keyboard I would make a mistake every 2/10 use of the keyboard. Also, my mouse aim is not good. Please Bungie, at least consider this wish. You would help at least a few guardians with that.
