Is it a problem that I’ve been running transverse steps since I got them? Yes. They are currently the only exotic worth even remotely using in pvp currently and in Shadowkeep it’s only gonna get worse I’m afraid. The lunafaction boots are being changed to give reload speed instead of the instant ammo which will pretty much limit the amount of decent exotics going into Shadowkeep.
can anyone genuinely tell me a warlock exotic that’s even worth using besides transverse? Cause warlock melee exotics have been bad cause our melee hasn’t been working properly since launch of d2 and all the other effects on our exotics are lackluster at best. This needs to change.
the only good thing we had was nova warp and we know what happened to that, granted everything is more balanced as a whole for warlocks i still think give how bottom tree striker is wasn't necessary at all.

Op aspects, great reload and handling buffs all around.

Bungie hates warlocks in general. There are exactly 4 exotics that's re usable and the rest just take up an armor slot. Crown of tempest and geomags are go decent for PvP and PvE. Both buff the length of arc supers. That's basically is. We don't have anything that makes us broken as shit like OEM titans or *insert exotic here* hunters.
-
Warlocks have a few good exotics. Getaway artist ain’t bad, controversy hold, as you said transversives, astrocyte verse, and there is a few more I’m sure

Hey there bby! Wanna Dark Drink from my Hard Light? Mind if I Ram it into that tight Necrochasm of yours? <3
-
I feel like too many do that same/ similar job . I’d love to see some old exotics merged maybe? Like winters guile and vampires cuirass instead of two meh exotics
-
Astrocyte isn't terrible
-
I feel that way about my crown. :D But also think warlock playstyle in crucible should be hang back and support (unless one is a beast) and been having success with the Night Watch/Calus mini tool combo.
-
Everyone recommending Nezarac probably main Erentil and Truth in PvP.. I see you... (Cause I do too) 😘
-
For PvP, I love contraverse hold for void walker, crown or getaway for stormcaller, and either transversive or ophidian aspect. Although if I'm running recluse or erentil I'd sometimes consider nezarec
-
Nezeracs sin would like a word
-
Whoa there buddy! This post is kinda cringe! Keep this up and I’m gonna have to report you to the principal of Clown School.

Lunafaction boots will still be useful they will make Izanagis Burden the best Dps exotic if you have catalyst.

Ignored. Same as titans running eye masks and bottom striker. Just main a Titan or hunter right now.

*laughs in Getaway Artists*

-
Warlock tbags are the smelliest. *Backs out of thread slowly*
-
Ophidian Aspects are quite nice, Crown of Tempests is pretty beefy (especially if you have Enhanced Assets to Ashes on it), Getaway Artists for the Arc Buddy with roid rage. Hell, Sunbracers can be super nasty too.
-
I agree we need better exotics but we have some of the strongest supers in game for pvp and one of the best neutral gameplay in game as well. Top stormcaller and bottom dawn blade are extremely strong and top tree stormcaller has one of the beat neutral gameplay in game
-
What are they being left behind on? Titan bubble and Hunter bottom tree void both needed alot of love. Warlocks are still all around good.

I like Ophidians and plan on building around them come Tuesday. Picture this, Ophidians give extra melee range and quicker reload and swapping on every single weapon. This means you can completely ignore reload and dexterity perks on your 2.0 armor and focus on intellect, mobility, etc... that by itself gives a really strong build. But they're nerfing rampage and kill clip, so start loading out with quickdraw/moving target/ snapshot sights etc on your weapons and all of the sudden you have gunplay central for pvp. Use it on voidlock with slowva and blink and you'll be very irritating to the enemy. Nova Warp is crap, forget that. Now, Chaos Reach is a really strong subclass. Obviously the Geomags are best for pve, but the super is pretty bad in pvp(because of the huuuuuge blind spot when using) so strengthen the neutral game for that.. probably again with Ophidians. The two melee gauntlets are excellent. Vampire's caress is strong. If you use that with Chaos reach you can tap a guardian to low health with a primary, then ball lightning that ass and you are a tank for the next few seconds. Extends with every kill. It's like bottom tree striker recovery(haven't used it in a while though. Hopefully it's still strong) . The other melee gauntlets increase damage with every melee kill. Again, ball lightning finish and then melee everything around you. Astrocyte Verse. I mean, come on. That thing is a nightmare to play against if someone is good with it. Getaway Artist. Grenades are trash, so using this makes them useful again. Again, win gunfights. Duck behind cover and you're still doing damage. Nezarac's sin. Self explanatory. The thing is, Warlocks are the intelligent class. To be effective, you have to think about how to use the Warlock exotics. Build around them. They aren't like dumb ass Titan exotics that all give overshields or let you punch more and any ape can use them.

crown of tempest is good. grenades for days!
