Are glitchy, buggy things common in this game?
My son played this quite a bit, but he said he's seen things in mine happen that he's never seen before.
This one is kinda long, because I didn't edit it that well, but it shows an NPC I know to be dead at this point drifting around way, far away from where his body was last seen.
This one was just as weird. Apparently there is a new armor.
I've seen some other really odd things too, but these seemed note worthy.
Pre-excusing my lack of knowledge of character and place names. Too many to remotely try to keep up with as I go through the game.

It's Bethesda lol

They happen in all Bethesda's games.

Bearbeitet von DemonicChronic: 9/27/2019 6:46:06 PMIt's a traditional unofficial Bethesda policy to leave TES games unpolished and have the community create patches to all the inconvenient and game breaking bugs. Unfortunately console players get the short end of the stick, which is why I only play TES games on PC now. Sometimes the roughness of the game can be really fun. Like Skyrim giants sending your character into orbit, or being able to create an avalanche of watermelons with the Oblivion duplication glitch. Other times, it's just frustrating.

Yup. It's best to save often and in multiple save slots. Morrowind had a bug where it would freeze if you hadn't saved in a while, which has to be my least favorite bug. Also, I haven't seen those exact bugs before so that was fun.

Try punching a chicken

Fight a giant at level 1 and you'll see why people love Skyrim.

Yeah. Bethesda games are some of the buggiest out there from my experience (I’m sure there are way buggier games out there, but not that I’ve played). Not quite a bug, but a neat story nonetheless. You know those three drunkards who offer you mead randomly on the road? Well, they get really mad if you give them Black Briar Mead. My sister did that once, and then felt really bad and reloaded her save from a few seconds earlier. Only, now they were gone. And not only were they gone, but we never ran into them again on that Xbox, across all of our many save files.

Whatever you do do NOT do the Thieves Guild Quest Line and get the Nightingale armor! Save that for last... once you get that armor you will never want to take it off... its a sickness.

Skyrim is glitches.
-
Bugs and Bethesda games are a married couple. There really isn’t much getting around it, unless you choose to mod them out.
-
I saw a YouTube video about a glitch in Skyrim where mannequins become animated and start following the player. But on topic, Bethesda and glitches go hand in hand. They're also known to be apathetic towards fixing them.
-
It has been known to have quite a few glitches. That said, my version has never had any trouble so I suppose it varies from game to game
-
The glitches make it fun try mods too
-
Skyrim and glitches? You cannot have one. without the other. You will play with and in both.
-
Never really had bugs like those
-
The bugs are features. You'll get used to them and enjoy them
-
I've definitely seen some shit in Bethsoft titles. Nothing like that first one though OMG 🤣
-
That's just how the game is because Bethesda thinks that these are "features" instead of actual things that should have been fixed. Try to have a bunch of manual saves just in case you get stuck or the game bugs out so you can restart from those points if you run into any problems. That's one way to avoid glitches. Walk up to a Giant and piss him off and see what happens just to get a glimpse of of the many glitches Skyrim has to offer.
-
Absolutely, Skyrim is full of bugs. If you can, download a few fixes from the mods to reduce the amount of glitches.

Skjor can’t be killed.
-
Yes. If you see Bethesda as the developer, expect a high number of glitches.
