Where's the LOOT?!?!
Excluding pinnacle quests, we have as many Crucible weapons in the game currently at about the point of The Dark Below of Destiny 1. Same with Vanguard weapons.
Let that sink in. Three years into Destiny 2 compared to around 3-4 months in Destiny 1.
Bungie says they aren't doing anything with vendors. If I had to bet my money, they are either going to reskin a y1 weapon. Notice how I said 'a' and not 'some'. Same with Shaxx. They do the bare minimum. This is a looter shooter. I don't care about Shaxx and Zavalla selling 5 different emblems. Give them weapons!
Remember the vendors we had in D1? Shaxx, Arcite 99-40, and the Vanguard frame? Faction Vendors? Now Shaxx is a glorified emblem vendor. Arcite 99-40 now types on his computer 24/7. Zavalla is also on the same level of Shaxx.

Edit 3: For those of you asking, there were 24 Crucible weapons and 24 Vanguard weapons at the end of Dark Below. Going on D2Y3 and excluding pinnacle quests and complete reskins, we are at 20.

3 Antworten90% of players don't know what decent loot is or what to chase. There are some extremely powerful mods in this game. Weapons are subjective. If you really think there is no loot in destiny 2 it's time to quit the game and give up on it.

It's quite funny when you think about it as destiny did start out as a shared world loot shooter. But you mention this and everyone's forgotten and is so far up bungies butt that they believe it will somehow be or already is an MMO. Do yourselves a favour, look up MMO. Destiny isn't one, it will never be one. Simple. It's really silly as well when you think of how few guns there are and how people scramble to use a meta. Random rolls got re-introduced because people moaned yet it didn't increase the loot pool. People still clamored for a meta. Yes we get pinnacle weapons but most people don't use them. Plus the pvp one last season (recluse) is more for pve, yet its pvp. Erm what? Did someone have a brain fart and not fix it? We got a grenade launcher.....they are getting nerfed indirectly. A bow that everyone thinks is crap. Not to mention last season the vanguard pinnacle was a scout rifle that no ones uses......there is a serious lack of loot. It's quite funny. Maybe we should all ask for some spoons instead. Wonder if they could manage that.

Now they're trying to call themselves an MMO, but yeah I look at games like ESO and just chuckle at that comparison. It's the Wal-mart of FPS/MMO's. It has a bit of everything, and it's a great value. But it doesn't do anything exceptionally well. Other than the gunplay itself, that's what holds it all together. They don't really know what this game is and they're afraid to really drive in one solid direction for fear of ticking off a portion of the player base. Except grind, the one thing they've all agreed on is that the game needs to be grindy.

Goes to show how far people are up Bungie's ass[/quote] I understand the frustrations and most are justified especially now but we have confirmation that there is a new expansion not dlc because this is drastically changing the game therefore it is an expansion and the size or rise of iron which despite being smaller than taken king still bigger then warmind and osiris combined. We don't know the details of shadowkeep so all the rants about it or complaints about now when we know change is coming is worthless. Broken record man.

1 AntwortenBungie is doing the bare minimum while being split up to work on future content. You guys should know their routine by now, which is that only new and sellable content is tweaked or made. They’re not going to hop off from working on Tess’s horror mtx ship to go fix vendors that the f2p players have access too. Y’all are like a broken record that is in denial that the record player is broken and not getting fixed. Also, much of what many of us actually want at a minimum is being saved for a free seasonal/timegated or age of triumphs deal. Bungie is taking baby steps here and the sooner folks realize and push back with their wallet, the better. Bungie has to be forced thru financial means to change their philosophy of NOT tweaking old content/vendors. But hey, I’m there with you too, peeing in the wind

But they did add ornaments for both sets in S2 and S3 that you get by playing the activity in that season. The current Vanguard and Crucible Sets are...not great. The entire Vanguard set across all three classes is just a less shiny reskin of the Kairos Function suit, except for the Titan helmet, which is a blue. Why they didn't just make the Vanguard/Crucible armor start dropping as Y2 Random Rolls and keep rolling out ornaments, I'll never know. Also, the Meditation Activity, which used to be an in-universe reason for Daily Heroic Missions existing, that awarded players with Legendary, clean versions of the starter armor sets, has been removed from the game or deactivated. Instead of making that armor in Y2 RR armor, they just removed the activity entirely, and now the Meditations are the significantly less interesting sounding Daily Heroic Story Mission, which does not even have its own unique loot pool, and awards Forsaken-era weapons and armor. Ikora has been a once-a-week stop for getting a shiny engram ever since.

Were there that many weapons in D1 when Dark Below launched? No. There are currently way more sources of loot in D2 than D1. The game is much bigger. So why are you even trying to specifically compare vanguard and crucible weapons between the two games. Try to gain some perspective and stop complaining.

4 AntwortenWhat's the point of more weapons when rampage or some form of kill clip are still the only things anyone chases? Bungie isn't coming up with enough new and better perks to even warrant more weapons in the first place. I don't want more weapons unless they are coming with brand new perks that don't include any of the ones we already have in the game.

2 AntwortenYou are dealing with lazy, scummy, greedy, incompetent scam artists. Of course they will do just the bare minimum, re-skinning paid content and offering just lame emblem rewards for, again, paid content. They are hacks with the sole mission of extracting as much money from you as possible while doing the least work possible. On top of all of that, they only focus on eververse every season, which requires no balancing (even though the con artists make ornaments increase gun range), and they’re planning on [b]REMOVING[/b] future paid content (which is also just recycled garbage, but it’s paid nonetheless) soon after it’s released, all for some cheap psychological tricks that [i]might[/i] get us to spend more (it has already cost them many players). Never trust a single word they say.

Here is why you wont get vendor resets. Think of all the tokens, materials and legendary shards current players already have. On day one of vendor resets you would be able to get all of the new weapons and armor, no need to grind. If you did have to grind for materials, I for sure would not want to play old content that I have been playing for upwards of 2 years. They are trying to fix those 2 problems. With new additions to the game, they want everyone to have a level playing field. That is why they add new materials for you to grind along with the new content. This is what most games do like this. Most players want something new, not having to grind older content.
