Cross Save Authentication Will Not Work, Please UpVote
I am having trouble with the cross-save system not authenticating my accounts.
Even though my accounts are linked they still will not authenticate even after pressing the "Authenticate Account button" and signing in. The sign-in browser goes away and the loading circle on above the account just disappears with no changes.
I have tried several things like logging in on other browsers and logging into the website on each of my accounts but nothing is working. My buddy did the same thing I am doing and had no trouble getting it to work so I am just very confused on what to do.
My goal is to get the characters from my Xbox account transferred to PC.
If anyone else has or had this problem please do let me know what you find.
Also, Bungie if I could get a response or get in contact to tackle this issue that would make me very happy.

I saw that this is a bit of an older issue and wanted to add onto it and say that the phone solution (or secondary device of any kind) does work and seems to be the best fix that works

Same fking problem bro... I'm really getting sick of these companies who can't do jack sht! Promising this and that, but all they want is MONEY MONEY MONEY! But fixing something? Bruh... They ain't even fixing sht. Just swimming in our well earned money and doing nothing. If people where actually smart enough to NOT buy anything of cosmetics or dlc's, THEN they would have no choice as to do something about their broken games. Even to this day, we are also the testers of bugs etc. Like wtf dude. You hire people to look into stuff like that. It's not our job to do it in their place. But again MONEY MONEY MONEY is all they fking want. I'm THIS close to litterly stop playing online games that require more money for dumb stuff like cosmetics i swear. WAKE UP PEOPLE they are laughing at your face. Trust me!

what worked for me is I authenticated my account on mobile and it allowed me to do it -I used chrome on my android.

I have experienced this same issue, I have tried again across several different browsers and devices. I have also unlinked and relinked my accounts. any suggestions?

Alright brothers, here's what worked for me. If you have the advantage of having an alternative computer (I used Safari, on my laptop) you should be able to sign into the respective account and authenticate it. I hope this helps. PS, not sure if this can be done on mobile.

I to am having this issue can not authenticate the accounts i have. i have xbonex steam and battle.trash they are all LINKED but will never authenticate no matter how many times I do it

Same it linked my ps4 acc but i cant authenticate the steam or battle net accounts it just restarts over again, i dont know if there is a error or not but please fix it bungie.

Im having the same issue. It authenticated my Xbox profile just fine but on PS4 once I log in, it takes me back to authenticate as if i never tried to. Been trying for a week now with no luck.

Having the same issue and i've tried it on almost every browser available. getting "ErrorInvalidParameters" when i try to link for blizzard and get no result on steam. WTF?

Im having this exact issue too. And when i sign into my other accounts it authenticates that one and unauthenticates the previously authenticated one.

I'm having issues myself. I would successfully authenticate my Steam account, yet it is never showed on my profile and when I try to activate Cross-Save I have to always authenticate my Steam,

2 AntwortenI was also experiencing the cross save authentication issue. It wouldn't work on Firefox and it wouldn't work on Chrome. Following the advice of MitzyJ below I logged into bungie.net through Safari on my iphone. I was then able to successfully authenticate my Steam and Battle.net accounts and select my PS4 characters for cross saving. Strange to have to do it this way, but it did work.
