Crossover questions
Hi! I'm thinking that I'd like to move platforms, but I've been playing since day 1 D1 and dont really wanna lose all my stuff, as it were. Ultimately the goal is to move (permanently) from one console to another, and am hoping someone can clarify whether this crossover thing that's coming will do what I'm looking for. I have read all the articles and content I could find on the matter and didnt see anything that directly addresses the following:
Q1. Since it's not technically an actual MOVE, will the crossover require that "live" and "plus" be current on both consoles in order to play on the (new one)? I know that I will have to purchase all the expansions for the (new) console, that's not a big deal, but would prefer to be able to avoid having to pay for two separate "plus" memberships when one of them will not be used.
Q2. Is there any plan to be able to make a permanent move: (migrate to (new) console/ delete account on (old) console?)
Q3. Will I be able to fully participate in all content on the (new) console with my (new) console native friends? Ex: the articles mention that matchmaking might not be a thing, so: if 2 of us queue for a strike or something, would it not search for guardians? Or would I just not be able to queue for strikes at all?

If you are not playing on ps4 (for example) you will not need the ps+ service until you play there again. [quote]Q2. Deleting accounts is not necessary nor would it be, just stop playing on the other system. [quote]Q3. Tia![/quote] You will be required to have Xbox Live Gold [i]or[/i] PlayStation Plus, depending on whichever console you're planning on playing. Not both. Also, you will only need to purchase Forsaken and the Forsaken: Annual Pass again [i]if[/i] you want to access that content on the new platform. The older DLCs will be free as a part of Destiny 2: New Light, and you can keep all of your current gear, Triumphs, etc. regardless of DLC ownership. The account you choose to be your cross save account will be available to play on all platforms. Any other accounts you may have will become dormant, but their data will not be overrode or deleted. There will not be cross [i]play[/i], but matchmaking isn't going anywhere, so I'm not sure where you got that information.
