Bungie, DDoSing in competitive Crucible has become a huge problem. Collectively my friends and I have been kicked from matches during sessions where no internet problems existed over 10 times. This is a huge problem, people kick other people out of games at the victim's expense. Not to mention this is extremely illegal puting people in jail for years. Now I know it's just a game but this has gone far enough. Please give us a way to report these people.

DDos - Dedicated Denial of Service. In short - grabs the interweb, bends it over and whispers in its ear "You know why". After that your modem will sounds like R2D2 having a seizure right before your power goes out and whilst its dark 6 men in Black suits and night vision goggles bursts through your door. 5 Days later you are on a bus to Peru and you do not know why, also there are stitches where your Kidneys use to be and your back itches for no reason.

All your history shows is that all you do is AFK farm in forges. No comp games. Somebody needs attention.

Bearbeitet von Animal: 7/20/2019 9:09:42 AMWas just legit DDOSed today in comp. Just flew in against a team of 4 and both me and my buddies internet went out for about 2 minutes. This is the first time it’s ever actually happened to me. I cannot believe that someone is pathetic enough to do something like this because they want to when at a video game. If you are someone that does this, you are actually lower than scum. This is what happens with p2p servers. Spend the money Bungie please. It will make for such a better product if you get dedicated servers.

Bearbeitet von Untallied: 7/20/2019 7:32:52 PMDoesn’t sound like a dos attack but sadly it is basically impossible to prevent dos attacks since it is extremely easy to pull an IP address. Best you can do is get a vpn to mask your IP

Please google DDoS. The whole internet would stop and you would need to reset the router. Getting error code is common in comp.

Bearbeitet von ErraticHail2012: 7/20/2019 1:30:42 AMFrom what I've heard, if you really got DDOSed, your whole internet would go down for minutes, not just a error code disconnect. I assume it's just the sh*tty laggy 'servers' ATM

Bearbeitet von aura: 7/19/2019 8:36:43 AMmy best advice to you is to put some protection on your internet if you can. we don’t have dedicated servers to protect our IPs.
