Do you receive this error on every character?
Do you use a wired or WiFi connection?
Would you happen to have another console that you could attempt to test?
Would it be possible for you to take your console to another location and use that location's internet to attempt to connect?

I live in California I do receive this error on every character I use a Wi-Fi connection I do not have another console to test I have tried a different disk and that didn't work. My friend was able to log into my psn from his ps4 and was able to log into my destiny profile that way. We have a Cox high speed modem from Arris: touchstone tg2472 My other games haven't been having networking problems. I also have two other people on the same router/modem who are able to log in no problem

Do the two other people using the same connection also play Destiny 2 on PS4? If they aren't online, can you connect successfully?

Good morning, My roommates have no issues and can both play destiny at the same time. I cannot log into my character regardless of who is on or off our connection. They both have ps4. Do you think it's my console? Thank You so much!

It sounds like your console is the issue. I recommend looking into its network settings and attempt to put things back to default, and/or see what your friend's settings say and copy them.
