Destiny 2 raids to me feel stale when it comes to having fun or really any replay ability. Each raid since “Spire of Stars: even though this is a raid layer,” things are becoming more and more mechanic driven. I don’t mind doing this, but there’s nothing to keep me there and wanting to play it again. Once you get what you want, there’s nothing else there to get you to play it again. At least with D1 the raids were fun to do even after getting what you want. Even now every weekend, I hop on with my friends and play the D1 raids. As for D2, nope, no one wants to do it. It’s just plain content that we don’t enjoy.
That’s just my spin on it, anyone else have an opinion on this matter?

I feel as if to many people care about getting them done fast and efficiently for me to have fun. I've only the the two most recent and was getting yelled at for screwing around. As long as I do what I'm supposed to that should be fine. People act as if this affects their whole life

I have not yet been able to do spire or EoW, but levi, LW, and Sotp are amazing. Running Levi recentlyish with some drunk guys is the most fun i have had since Wrath of the machine

I absolutely LOVE eater of worlds boss fight it’s arguably the best in the series maybe aside from aksis. Last wish the encounters are pretty fun my favorite is the vault but it’s such a shame that nobody does riven legit. Spire of stars just has way too much going on to be enjoyable to me
