For the love of Deej please please please PLEASE stop putting randoms vs full fireteams of 4 in competitive. It’s extremely unfair. For the past like 10 games I’ve had to play solo, with three other solo people, against full 4 man fireteams all rocking the meta (DRB, Luna’s, and Wardcliffe) it’s so unfair
-
Look man, not all 4 stacks are good. I got to fabled this season in...2 weeks. And I did it solo. Got Luna when forsaken dropped. I'm happy to give you solo tips if you need. But it's quite doable solo. In fact, my funniest games were solo
-
If someone has to change to Luna's because they are losing and they still lose, did they really earn their Luna's haha
-
They arent even a problem. I soloed all the way to fabled vsing 4 stacks almost every game. I only lost 1 game when I hit fabled. The 4 stacks aren’t the problem, its your mentality and how you specifically handle thing. Stop thinking its over when your against a 4 stack or more importantly grow a set and socialize. I know it might be hard for you to play a game that expresses playing with groups but i believe in you
-
Now this is something a actually worth complaining about
-
Not gonna happen. Either accept it or move on. I play solo and you’re right. Playing solo against a stack of Hunters with Luna’s sucks. I don’t enjoy PvP the way Bungie has positioned it. Moving on to other games.
-
Deej is a CM, not a Dev or lead.
-
They'll never listen to this I'm starting to hate bungie
-
No it’s a team based game mode. What they should do is make in game chat a opt out option instead of opt in.
-
Deal with it. Everyone who plays Solo on PC had to play nothing but sweaty 4 stacks to get Luna’s move on to another game, they will never change it. it’s your fault you don’t have a group
-
Bearbeitet von AppalachianAxis: 3/27/2019 6:12:36 PMI just finished my solo grind for Luna’s Howl and man was this ridiculous. I’ve got nothing against four stacks, especially in comp. It makes sense, if you’re going into more objective based modes it benefits you to go in with a team so you can communicate and coordinate. But my god the frequency at which complete random teams are pitted against 4 stacks of Luna’s/Not Forgotten, 4 stacks of Gwisin hunters, or (the absolute worst) both is just absurd. Almost as bad as losing points for when a teammate quits in terror when they see the team they’ve been paired up against lol
-
I definitely understand what you’re saying. When I run solo it’s hell on wheels sometimes. However, I’m not shocked to get put against 4 stacks. I mean, it usually sucks when that happens but it’s possible that they’re around the skill level of me (bad) and my blueberries...right? What REALLY pisses me the fvck off, though, is when a game starts and there are fewer players on my side than on the other side. Yesterday I was put on the short side of a 2V4. What the shit? Just take my fvckin glory points why don’t ya bungie. Or when there are people on the other team with Not Forgotten, or the Recluse. Fvckin seriously bungie? I get that there are seasonal resets but surely there’s a way to keep a motherfvcker who made it to 5500 glory AT ANY TIME EVER the hell out of matchmaking at my scrubass level. And as to the recluse? THEYVE ALREADY MADE IT TO FABLED THIS SEASON GODDAMMIT
-
Yes please we want random on random action, we basically want San-Francisco in the 70s
-
Seriously sick of all the hand holding, if you fire teams are gonna play together at least don't be puzzies and team shoot the whole time.
-
But if the fireteam of four aren’t matched with randoms they’ll keep leaving matchmaking. It wouldn’t be fair to them never finding a group to beat.
-
Or when they add 1 player to a team of three and make it 4 v 2 instead of 3 v 3. At which point I put the controller down and go get a drink. The game will punish me if I leave and a win isn’t going to happen.
-
It's your own fault for entering a competitive playlist as a solo.
-
You see they would do that if they had a bigger player base (was 60k total last thursday). Not like they'll care enough tolhough cause they're too busy making enhancement cores easy to get.
-
Full teams are not a guaranteed win there are good solo players you know
-
Honestly most of the randoms I solo queue with are pretty good on PC. I'll have that new SMG on reset next week lol
-
A 4 stack literally has the disadvantage of trying to coordinate their gameplay to face 4 players that just are doing their own gameplay. The randoms actually hold advantage is almost all those occurrences. At the end of the day the other team is going to be better or worse than you are. This is literally not an issue in competitive, it’s just another point to complain about. Please present relevancy . These dumb ass posts are why competitive has turned to a garbage dump on fire. If you feel at a disadvantage then please feel free to go make a 4 stack, I’m sure you’ll actually see 0 difference if not an actual decline in your overall progression. The only time a 4 stack holds advantage and can dominate is when you have 4 that play together often, synergy is a real thing. And random players synergize more often than 4 players blaming each other or complaining about specific weapons or tactics rather than working together. 🤷♂️ popular belief is usually always wrong when it comes to logic in this game.

Firstly, I'm not a great PvP player. I'm only doing Comp at the moment for the 25 match completions toward Redriks Broadsword, but I'm going to make a couple of objective observations here as a Comp casual. 1. Competitive mode is not and never has been geared towards solo players. That's what Quickplay and Rumble are for. To be successful in Comp you're supposed to find/create a team. 2. As a solo player in Comp over the last few weeks I've rarely encountered full teams and when I did my team of randoms did actually win one match and drew another. Do you ever use 'enter fireteam chat' and communicate with your other solo team mates? Those stacked teams you're losing to are winning because they're communicating. Adapt or die. Repeatedly.
-
I have had to play solo? You mean you rather play solo. My advice find a team and stop being stubborn
-
Lol go play quick play. Join a clan and play with people. Comp is for teams not randoms
-
Stop solo queueing into a competitive 4 person team mode and complaining you play against groups of four. It is your own decision or social ineptitude that prevents you from teaming up.
-
Bungie did a deal with the streamers. They can all stack up against randoms to make fancy montage videos against them and bungie get a cut of the money the videos reel in😎
-
So, you're saying you should find parties of people who are good at crucible and work with them? That's a great idea!
