There is no problem with cores and progression in Destiny 2. It is literally a made up problem. Cores do not affect progression. Screaming loudly that they do doesn't make it less of a lie.
Maybe, just maybe, the reason you haven't gotten what you wanted even after screaming about it for months is because your opinion doesn't match the opinion of the majority of the player base nor does it match the direction the developers want to take the game. Maybe, just maybe, we have all heard your complaining loud and clear, but you don't actually have a good argument nor a good opinion. Maybe, just maybe, forming a mob doesn't make your demands more credible or worthwhile.
At this point, the fake argument and outrage over enhancement cores is bordering on social terrorism. Calm down. Play the game. Play a different game. Stop trying to threaten and scream down people who don't agree with you.

Just curious, how do you think repeated weapons and armor dropping in the same slot and enhancement cores being relatively scarce, benefit the player experience? I won’t accept a response implying that enhancement cores aren’t scarce, as it was a stated design goal by the developer. I’m not being smart assed here, I want to know why you like these aspects of the game and why you are defending them.
-
Because I enjoy games that give me something to work toward. And so do millions of other players.
-
Millions of others don't play the game....
Because I enjoy games that give me something to work toward. And so do millions of other players.
There aren’t millions of other players. This game gets around 500k a day. At first I didn’t understand how you came to the completely wrong conclusions in your OP, but now I see it’s because you’re delusional.

Bearbeitet von Synge_X: 3/26/2019 5:44:15 PMThis is relative to saying something as simple as “remove enhancement cores”. what specifically do you like about completing content and “working” toward something that may yield no gain(in reference to repeated drops in the same slot, rather than an item needed for an upgrade in light)... And what do you like about the “work” required for being able to use the gear you like(at your current level) not matching the value of similar actions that yield or potentially yield greater gain. The “work” required is relative to established other gains across a wide spectrum of content.
what specifically do you like about completing content and “working” toward something
The sense of accomplishment the comes with it. Are you going to reveal your motives yet or are you going to keep asking rhetorical questions under the pretense of genuine interest?

Bearbeitet von Synge_X: 3/26/2019 10:41:37 PMIronic, You are the one with an agenda. You aren’t even responding to my question. I’m trying to get at the heart of what you like about these things and you keep responding with broad, general statements about enjoying “working hard”. I’m interpreting this as you like to grind, which is fine. However, there are many things to grind for. Why cores for infusion specifically? Why do you enjoy getting multiple drops at the same light level dropping in the same spot, impeding level progress based on pure randomness? Let’s say someone got 5 hand pieces, and didn’t see any light growth, but you got all good drops that leveled you... same “work”, different outcome entirely. Wouldn’t that contradict your statement about wanting to ensure that the game requires “hard work” to feel proud about. I guarantee you that this phenomenon happens every day on Destiny 2

Bearbeitet von Synge_X: 3/27/2019 2:58:32 PMI have no motives outside of trying to understand where you are coming from. I even have theories ranging from positive and negative on how you could feel the way that you do. You however, are only capable of repeating yourself and projecting negativity. It is my assessment that you are either a troll or an idiot(not based on your opinion about cores, but your conduct in our discussion), I am interested in neither. Good day.

See ya, go troll someone else with your transparently dishonest rhetorical strategy.

Wow horribly thought out post. Mind if I use this an example of failed criticism thinking? You know for students who can write but are moving on to forming opinions, expressing them and backing them up? Perfect response to show how today’s world of people who can write and voice an opinion but can’t corroborate with evidence and actively choose to ignore real evidence.
Mind if I use this an example of failed criticism thinking?
You should probably not make obvious typos when you're trying to own someone for poor writing. Also, grow up. Stop wasting our time with your trolling.

"In last week's TWAB we shared the current plan to update the sources of cores. We have seen the feedback that this change is not what a large part of the community wants and that most of you want Enhancement Cores removed from the cost of infusion. We sent a summary of the response to the dev team this morning." Cozmo... Hmmm, seems there is an majority, by him implying "a large part of the community wants and that most of you want Enhancement Cores removed from the cost of infusion" Oh, but that's just non since..Cozmo must be fake news/sarcasm.

If you are the only ones talking. Then yes you will be the majority SPEAKING. That does not mean you are the majority of the playerbase. HE USES THAT PHRASE TO REFER TO ANYTHING OVER 6 PEOPLE. He literally said there is a majority of comments on here about such and such. Using the word incorrectly leads other people to misunderstand He is saying of the comments : a majority of them are about cores Translation: You made the majority of all the comments. all topics considered Does not mean you are majority Means you made the most comments

You’re trying to argue semantics to prove your baseless narrative.

Well look at what I’m dealing with Can’t even figure out how to buy cores. These idiots think they come from world drops
Well look at what I’m dealing with Can’t even figure out how to buy cores. These idiots think they come from world drops
Hey look a new strawman. If someone talking about cores talks about the ways you can get them, one way is dismantling a legendary piece of gear. That doesn’t mean they think they all come from world drops.

You are trying to relight a dead wet fire
