Bungie just re-introduced the Service Revolver Hand cannon, and you can get it by grinding out vanguard strikes. It's a 180 RPM kinetic slot that is a direct competitor to Lunas Howl, some may even like it better. Anyone without Lunas Howl now has a weapon that can 100% compete with it.
There are now 2 choices :
1.) Use the Service Revolver and be content with it
2.) Use the Service Revolver in competitive to get a Lunas Howl
You now have everything you need to compete with the gun. No more crying.
Shoutout to Aztecross for the weapon review.

I've always thought that pinnacle weapons should have some way to get them after a few seasons. Maybe after two seasons (so season six for season four pinnacles) the pinnacle perk enters the loot pool available for random drops. Or the quest to get it is simplified and made easier (so a Luna's howl quest that doesn't require competetive rank). That way, the ones who got the gun the first season it's available has a whole season where they can enjoy having the pinnacle, then players who missed the chance or who were unable to get it can have a different version (if the perk enters the loot pool) or can do an easier quest (such as: competitive rank doesn't force back progress).
