Gunsmith should have Bounties too!
I feel he should have daily bounties that reward Mod Components and Gunsmith Materials. As well as one weekly bounty that rewards a "Powerful" weapon and several Enchanement cores.
I also feel they should bring back ammo synthesis and add it to his inventory.

I would prefer that we get a weapon to test out and we can check back on the rolls offered on that reward like it was in D1. Or if we got an option to reroll a perk on certain weapons. This would be especially helpful since most weapons don't have 2 perks to choose from in each slot

No, not in the way they're being used now as a substitute for the duplicates and the over amount of material that is added in this game through bounties. The bounties should have been set up similar to D1 with All vendors having a full inventory of weapons, gear etc, with bounties that builds up rep or small quest that separates having to complete 20 bounties like Ikora for only 1 power engram that is a pure waste of time when she has nothing else in her inventory. I don't care if anyone gets bothered by this, but Bungie needs to stop being so damn lazy (only making sure Tess is well taken care of.)

Maybe it's because I play FFXIV, a game with classes where smithing weapons, armor, etc... is a thing, but destiny's idea of smithing (crafting) is something of a joke to me. Because face it , the closest that Bungie has come to actual smithing and forging weapons was in a D1 testing weapons for banshee and the foundries , and literally remaking gjallarhorn . And that is just banshee , that doesn't begin to cover the travesty of the black armory and Ada , where Bungie's idea of evolving weapon creation is do a grocery list of kill streaks and item collection and rounded up with an activity where balls are thrown at a device that looks like a new age blender that craps out a weapon at the end. I personally have always thought it would have been better if Bungie made weapon crafting something like Skyrim were you get better the more you do it or a modular weapon system akin to what fallout 4 has , then at least you can actually say you forged that weapon with your own hands, instead of throwing your "balls " at a floating metal cone .

All Vendors should have bounties. Even on the Farm. Factions should be year round. Every exotic should also have a quest line. Xur should sell all the things he did in Destiny 1, as well as have new items added in Destiny 2. All the old Crucible maps should have carried over, due to 4v4 being changed to 6v6, and the maps separated out to the appropriate playlist and fireteam sizes. Could go on and on....

They need some other type of mechanic with rewards like more types of patrols or something that you can just do for fun and not spend 30 minutes per day running around collecting and then doing specific tasks or game modes you don't want to do. Give banshee guns you have to go out wherever you want and level them up, then they turn into a decent random roll legendary or something, anything different than another bounty. Or as others have stated, maybe an item that you put on a gun or armor and when you fill up a number of kills, etc, it allows you to reroll a perk on it or something... anything...

5 AntwortenAnd the power to change elements on certain guns, re-roll perk mods and have challenges for scopes and customization. 100 head shot kills in comp with the redrix means you can cut the side rails off and change the scope.

It just needs to go back to how it was in D1 with gun orders and ranking. Then you get the exotic quests once you reach a certain rank. He was worth visiting each week. The only reason I go to him now is to pick up a gun with a decent roll that has just been updated due to sandbox changes. Don't even bother buying mods as I've got loads of them!

Hell no! It takes long enough gathering bounties as it is!! Maybe if we could introduce a bounty vendor?

I have around 7,000 gun parts to shove down its throat , I’d prefer to get better options for them

Yeah, he absolutely should. We need bounties that reward weapon parts and bounties that reward mod components. 25 weapon parts and 5-10 mod components per bounty, at least 5-6 bounties.
