I was originally a Warlock main in D1 Year 1, Switched to Titan after a while. Now in D2 there is a lot of overpowered stuff in crucible, I try not to use any of it, Shotguns, One Eyed Mask, Telesto, I dont even have Lunas and NF, and many other things. I only use stuff like one eyed mask when Im up against people far better than my teammates. The reason I do this is so I can actually get better at the game, Using a crutch will make you worse because you will be accustomed to that specific weapon and your skill on other ones will degrade, and because I wouldn’t want someone else to use that stuff on me. Yea I know that someone else will still use those things on me but It still doesn’t feel right, Plus if more people stop using stuff like that, and learn to counter shotguns, and learn to get better at the game not because of something in the game that is good, Then we make less people use shotguns, Because If they get killed constantly without them getting any hits off the opponent than they will learn to get better and stop using shotguns too! Also heres something I have been thinking about: There are many supers that are overpowered in the game right now, Or just powerful. Unpopular opinion, Titan supers aren’t the best, Hammers is the best they have and they can only throw a few hammers, Low duration, Something like Fist of Havoc can win sometimes (Not thundercrash) and Fist of Havoc is terrible. Also we all know those exotics that either extend super duration or give you your super back right? Shards of Galanor, Ursas, That warlock chestplate that gives you your Well back for getting a few kills. You know those, theres one for basically every subclass. Except 2 out of the 3 Titan subclasses, Hunters have Orpheus, For tether, The other exotic for Spectral Blades, Shards for Blade Barrage, I thought I remember something for Arcstrider. Warlocks have that Well of radiance Chestpiece, I think its called Crown of Tempests for Stormcaller, The other one for chaos reach, God forbid they make one for Nova Warp.... Titans have..... Ursas, Doom Fang Pauldron, and...... Thats it, There is 2 Exotics for one subclass and the one that actually did something was nerfed into the ground, Doom Fang cant sustain Sentinel shield in crucible due to the insane amount of kills you would need. Titans arent that good, Atleast for me, If you arent a knuckle dragging idiot with Dust rock blues and Lunas and Play of the game, You can get better without using the most overpowered stuff in the game as a crutch.
