Honest question, why where 140 and 150 hand cannons for controller players nerfed so badly from what they were in Destiny 1? And also, why is no one really bringing this up? I'm mainly a PC (m&k) player who loves hand cannons and I occasionally get on Xbox to play with a friend. The experience coming from PC goes from very consistent/fun to painful and terrible with the same guns on Xbox, I also remember playing the console beta after using HCs in Destiny 1 regularly and being very surprised and disappointed with how they felt in D2. There is way more recoil and way less aim assist when compared to Destiny 1 and I'm having trouble wrapping my head around why that is. Do people think they'd be overpowered if they felt as good as they did in in D1?

Dude, bloom was way worse in d1. Do you not remember the rampant ghost bullets. Range was the only stat that did anything on HCs back then.
