My friend is having trouble with his account and can't find support because he can't log in and post to the help forums. His Xbox Live gamertag is StingingRex9709. Here is what he needs help with: "I recently purchased an Xbox One and Destiny 2 (I love it) and many of my friends suggested I also download the companion app. However when I try to log into the app with my Xbox Live account, it says there is an "Authentication Error" because I haven't verified something with my account or have no gamertag or haven't accepted a terms of use. I have done all of those things and it still doesn't work. I wonder if maybe having the free trial of Xbox Live Gold is the problem? (I doubt it) I used a different email to make my Xbox live account, but someone told me my battle.net account might be interfering, even though it is on a different email. I've tried to reach out but I can't even contact support because I have no account to log in with since my Xbox live isn't working and I don't trust Blizzard (battle.net) because they asked for a picture of my ID and birth certificate...(I just wanted to delete my account why would they need that???) (P.S. that's dangerous kiddos don't give that info out). If there's something I need to do or reset I'd like to know as soon as possible so I don't get too far along with my new Xbox and then find out I have to start everything over (in case I need to make a new account).
