It's because CARRIES.
Youtubers are offering free carries, others offer paid carries, Bungie do NOTHING to stop it at all and by doing nothing, encourage it.
It's an easy weapon to use and that's why it should be taking so much skill to get, and yet here we are. Everyone and their dog has it without earning it, it'll be nerfed and all the time that I and others who have made it legit will have been wasted.
Thanks Bungie for establishing once again that you do not care about PvP. Nothing you've done this season proves that you care, including that you've brought special weapons back. You could have established an economy first then tweaked it but no, perpetual mayhem in QP and comp is what you think is fair.

More people got it on their own vs people who were carried
-
Sure and that's all well and good. Again, my issue is still that there are people who didn't earn it, Bungie support this by saying and doing nothing to stop it in the future.
-
I mean I'll agree I think its bs people pay to be carried .. I guess were in the minority who would rather earn it on our own.. Im gunna try all of next season for Luna.. I know not forgotten might be a grind that I cant reach and I'm OK with that.. Ill gladly go for redriks instead
-
Yeah I might as well finish the redrix's quest, once I have Luna's that's all I'll use in comp too.
-
I wouldn't blame you its a gun you have to work for its not given to you like the rest of the weapons
-
Free carries are completely fine and aren't a against terms of services...
-
They do however completely disregard the point of having a weapon to earn. Why should everyone have a weapon that's super easy to use if they didn't earn it themselves? How is that fair to anyone who did the work themselves?
-
Yeah I guess so
-
Very true
-
Crucible is better than ever, they do care.
-
That's funny, while I can agree that it's better, it's also weaker. Special weapons own the crucible and it can't stay that way. It's already boring as hell and there's so little skill left that more people hate playing than not.
-
If more people hate it then why are more people playing it daily than have played in years?
-
Do you have a link that shows more people are playing Crucible than ever? And please don’t consult Destiny Tracker as that is not even a remotely accurate source for player count.

Bearbeitet von jcald--: 11/21/2018 1:46:46 PMHow is the tracker network not accurate? I love how that website can't be accurate when it supports Destiny but it is accurate when people use it to bash Detiny..... Consult the waybackmachine.com and check different dates for destiny tracker. Also I said in years not ever. There us no information on year 1 Destiny that I can find. Why do you hide your profile, classic troll move.

I see more posts about how people dislike it than anything else, that's all I mean. Also, some still play because they have to, others play because they enjoy it. I myself enjoy it in little bits at a time. Special weapons make the game stale for me very quickly. It takes very little skill to one tap someone with a shotgun or telesto from the ranges they're being used, especially dust rock blues. All my thoughts are is that when a special ammo economy is sorted and there's less special ammo spam, the game will be that little bit more enjoyable for people like myself. That does NOT mean I want things as they were, that was terrible, I'd just like to be able to use a primary weapon without being killed by a crutch as my only deaths for an entire game.
-
You are on the forums, people usually only come here to complain.
-
I know, however most have the same issues with crucible that I do. Special ammo ruins the fun. It did in D1 after just a year or so as well. When there's no point in using a primary weapon cause you can just rush and get free kills, why use a primary weapon? It's the same argument that was had in D1. Granted I also know it's tough to balance out, I just don't think that ammo on respawn is very smart.
-
So you thought D2 year 1 crucible was better? I really don't think that's the popular opinion and that the daily numbers show it.
-
No, it also got stale quite quickly. G.lance being the only meta was boring. This season is the opposite to last, last season being camp at the back, this season being rush with a shotgun. The core issue I have is that you can just use your ammo, die and get more free kills.
-
I think the issue is in the risk/reward balance. Shotties should reward the risk if they have the skill. So either TTK on primaries should be even higher (harder to close the gap) or shotgun range should be halved but less random.
-
The latter, 100%. Range is the issue. Look at dust rock blues, if it's a good roll, it's range stat is higher than its freaking impact stat. The fact there are still others who defend the special meta is baffling, really. I'm glad you can see the issue at hand though.
-
I am a proponent of rewarding skill so I have no issue with a good gun or weapon type if it is powerful in skilled hands and not a crutch for easy kills. Shotguns have basically eliminated SMGs and Swords, the latter of which is supposed to be a heavy weapon but is weaker in every way when up against a shotgun. I think it’s baffling really that we’ve ended back at a meta that D1 worked so hard to fix. Vanilla D2 was seemingly designed around fixing the issue but obviously what we got instead was stale and boring. I find it hard to believe there isn’t a compromise though.
-
Also in air accuracy should be changed and aim assist removed.
-
My issue with your statement is that there evidence to counter it. 4 of the top 5 weapons are primaries. You can kill quickly enough if someone is rushing you with a shotgun. We are both entitled to our opinion but I think this system is much faster and more fun.

LichLet us embrace necromancy bungie - alt
Must be why i solo’d everything up till last night. An got the Luna in about 2 weeks As I’ve always got invited to due to holding my own. I don’t understand why people cry and whine if someone gets carried payed or not. It doesn’t effect you. As atleast one person on your team is getting carried regardless. Last I checked hardly anyone got it solo And would of gotten it by myself as I reached fable before I needed that part of the quest. Git gud
