I did the ascendant challenge 3 or 4 times last night, the final time solo from launch straight into the challenge, and have not gotten the triumph for the speedrun. All of the runs have been well under 5 minutes, and I had the sword in hand and opened the chest each time. Am I misunderstanding how the speedrun triumph works, or is it bugged? This and next week’s challenge are the only 2 I’m missing.

From what I have managed to work out the time limit on the Keep of Honed Edges ascendant challenge is 3 minutes. But this time trial is a little bit different in that it does not end when you open the chest, you also have to escape through the portal at the end within the 3 minute time limit.

I had this same thought last night when I was trying it. It wasn't till I left the Ascendant challenge that I was rewarded so make sure you loot the chest and leave ASAP for the chance of getting it! And yes, this goes against the other Ascendant challenge races that I have experienced also.

Are you leaving the challenge zone via the exit portal right after opening the chest? I did this a few times last night myself, and I didn't get the triumph for the time trial to pop until I jumped through the exit portal.

Hey there, This Week's Ascendant Challenge is not complete once you open the Chest. To complete the Speedrun CHallenge in the Keep of Honed Edges, you will have to enter the portal after completing the encounter and leave the Ascendant Plane. Once you did that, the Triumph should appear.
