For more Telesto fun actual facts, visit guardian.gg to see how little it actually factors in Crucible! Thanks!

23 AntwortenBearbeitet von Forest: 10/31/2018 9:53:43 PMWow Telesto users are saying anything at this point to try and stop it from being nerfed or moved back into heavy. Fine keep your telesto but I want tractor canon and DARCI as special weapons instead of heavy since clearly heavy weapons are allowed to be special weapons.

11 AntwortenYour link actually confirms it's high usage. It's literally 2nd most used gun for special. No account for slot and exotic restrictions. That makes it the most popular special weapon. According to your link.
-
3 AntwortenIt really does take no skill. There’s a big difference between testing in a private match and an actual game.
-
People in Destiny will make ANY excuse for why they died/lost a game. Telesto does what a Fusion Rifle is supposed to do. Get a mid-close range kill.
-
You have just shattered a bunch of people's reasons for cries. Well done. Well f*cking done. I approve.

14 AntwortenBearbeitet von SlushyApollo48: 11/2/2018 12:29:49 AMThe telesto is by far the strongest special in the game it needs to be modified

65 AntwortenBearbeitet von blade329: 10/31/2018 10:49:55 PMA lot of players are going to say, "You aren't using it right...". Wait, I thought it didn't take any skill or thought to use? I thought it was an easy trip to 2.0 k/d at all ranges for a scrub? I even had a player here tell me that it worked at long range. LOL. It's all just nonsense complaints from butthurt players who don't like to lose. They (Bungie) shouldn't even touch this weapon. MYTH = This weapon is over powered REALITY = Players just don't like dying in the Crucible and want to blame the guns.

3 AntwortenI think when this was posted Telesto was at 2% of kills in crucible right? Right now it's at 5%. A 3% increase in 24 hours. When will it stop?
-
12 AntwortenFor more fun facts, go into comp past 2k and see that every game has atleast 1 Telesto at LEAST
-
6 AntwortenThey need to make other fusions better if they nerf Telesto or move it. Right now it’s slim pickens
-
The gun by far is the easiest to use and incredibly powerful

4 AntwortenYou got a couple things right. It doesn't have unlimited range, and it doesn't even approach sniper range. Hard to use, as you imply? Not even a little. Since you suggested guardian.gg, The telesto sits at 4.7% of all energy weapon kills with the Luna's Howl and Trust at 7.5% and 26.4% percent respectively. in the Kinetic category the top 3 are The Bygones, Ace, and Dust Rock at 14.7%, 13%, and 6% respectively. There are some really key things to consider, like Ammo availability in crucible, and WEAPON obtainability. The reason why the telesto seems to have a relatively low percentage of ALL kills in crucible is because (1) It uses special ammo, something that isn't consistently available if you're a good player, because you have to forgo safety in most instances of team games to retrieve dropped special ammo. In rumble you're usually on the move anyway, so you rarely have ammo troubles (2) Not everyone has it, think of players who dived into forsaken first, and never built up the exotic catalogue some of us have now, and are dealing with the current shite exotic economy. Dust Rock is far more available than Telesto to new players. If we narrow the criteria to most used special ammo weapons, it's sitting pretty close to the top now at #2. Out of all special weapons used in crucible, from the beginning of october up to now, It's carried the Fusion Rifle category from 2% to 5%, just by the use of a single weapon. As far as the weapon effectiveness you featured in the video, that's not even in a real combat environment. In most cases of the Telesto hitting a guardian, the telestos kick will follow a guardian pretty reliably thanks to target acquisition. (tl;dr, player movement does half the work for the telesto being able to land shots) This weapon wins just about every mid-close range engagement, and if it doesn't, it trades. It can also snag some multikills for teams that like to play close, something that's only breach load Grenade Launchers can attempt, and they have the achilles heel of fire rate. All of this is just to say, that there are very legitimate reasons for people to feel oppressed by this weapon in crucible. It doesn't really help matters to sweep mediocre design under the table by saying x is a crucibaby, or you need to play around it, when you rarely can. It's kind of a problem, and I think there's way more to it than "git gud".

1 AntwortenTo be completely honest I use it for the sole purpose of pissing off as many mother-blam!-ers as humanly possible because I just like to be an asshole
-
The only thing that makes it annoying are the delayed explosions. Besides that, it is simple to deal with.
-
Telesto is still the besto
-
1 AntwortenShotguns were also at 2% kills in crucible when forsaken first came out. Now they're at 20%. Telesto hasn't caught on yet

Bearbeitet von Xeno: 10/31/2018 9:36:48 PMI came here for Telesto testes. Where are my Telesto testes?! 😡😡😡
-
4 AntwortenYikes someone doesn't know how to aim a fusion rifle. Might want to learn before posting a video like this one. Telesto is in a strong spot, you just aren't using it in range lmao.
-
4 AntwortenSo there are claims that Telesto is great at sniper and scout rifle range? What D2 crucible maps even have that long of range? Pretty much every map has perfect range for Telesto users in most areas.
-
the reason he uses it at that range is that most fusion rifles have this similar range factor. people just use telesto more because of its bonus damage ability
-
7 Antwortenhttps://destinytracker.com/d2/profile/xbl/xzxinflamesxzx/detailed The only thing I have more kills with than fusion rifles is sub-machine guns. I loved fusion rifles in Destiny 1 and they are still my favorite weapon to use in D2. Those tests that you are doing do NOT show the reality of that weapon. You are not accounting for the natural recoil that telesto has. By pulling down on the thumb stick as the bolts go out, keeps the spread A LOT tighter, making ALL fusion rifles much more consistent when done properly. I used telesto A LOT when it was in the heavy slot, and I personally though it was going to get a buff, and remain in the heavy slot even after the changes. I am very surprised they didn't. With that, I don't want to start the cycles of nerfs on weapons, so I don't know what the solution for this is.

5 AntwortenWatched the video but the guy is using it at scout rifles ranges. Even the pulse rifles would have trouble killing at those distances......
-
1 AntwortenThats not how you use that at range -_-
-
2 AntwortenHey you linked something tangible for a change. See I only criticize you when you act important but say nothing of.

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von A Broken Record: 10/31/2018 7:55:13 AMI just love those players who claimed they have been sniped by this weapon from across the map,and yet i took this weapon into crucible and i can confirm most people who complain about this weapon are just exaggerating. This video just proves my point, and i will save this just to rub it in the faces of the crucible cry babies.
