UPVOTE if you think haunted forest should be a PERMANENT thing
Honestly with how underwhelming CoO was I think added the haunted forest as a permanent feature would be a great move, they could change its theme so its not the festival of lost and change it’s name to the infinite forest and even give it specific loot to chase for!
Edit: An idea came into my mind that we could have daily/weekly modifiers to make it even more harder!

It should be kept and every month should have a new level 600 thing so we can get to 600 a bit easier but still be grindy like they want

Haunted forest is so much fun. [spoiler]Especially when you're last guardian standing with 0:00 on the timer, 50% on the branch, AND the invicible knightmare (heh, get it?) on your tail and...okay, who knew Destiny 2 could be more heart-pounding than the Outlast series?[/spoiler]

Naah. Not enough variety to support being a permanent addition to the game. But I think it would work well as a CYCLIC piece of content. Maybe make it part of Faction Rally when it comes back. Only being here for a week, would allow us to play it frequently....but not to the point where it gets stale.

You know, this event is what I expected of the Infinite Forest when it was first released. Not so much it being haunted, but being an endless run type thing with better rewards the further you get. Honestly thought it was going to be an actual content activity rather than tiny story missions then done. Maybe they can take the feedback on this and make that a reality, haunted or not.

It really should be, there is nothing actually halloween themed except for the nightmare knight it was really overhyped

2 AntwortenSo turn lights out, put boss at end, no loot pool, sounds like infinite forest in the dark, but everyone hated infinite forest, strange. Don’t like it myself, find it quite boring. Only thing worth grinding for is the gun and I’m having to make myself do that.

3 AntwortenIt being permanent would kinda suck. Let's be real here. What would it drop? Blues and tokens 99% of the time And it'll have a mediocre armor set. And 2 or 3 reskinned weapons that will suck unless you get the perfect roll. I don't wanna bash the game or anything but i think we need to be realistic

Yep. It just needs expanding in terms of layout and loot. Apart from that it's surprisingly fun.

Yes, but not exactly as it is because that would be boring. BTW, has anyone been killed when going to collect the chest at the end? That happened to me last night and I was left going "what the Fuc*?!?" Then I got the chest after respawning.

If anything, it should become the 'new' Escalation Protocol or Blind Well. It would be a nice touch having a different, random arena to complete each wave.

They need a real horde mode, and the Infinite Forest is a great place for it to take place. I would hope that they keep it and update the appearance for the season. For example, spooky dark like now, then "normal" and perhaps snowy during the winter.

Not necessarily permanent, but it would be neat to have it rotate a week in a month or a couple of weekends in a season to have a similar horde mode. It could be themed for seasons or holidays too, if Bungie has the extra time and team resources to make that happen. Or.... this could be a way to make faction rallies a little more interesting. I'd 1000% rather farm packages and tokens doing this than the same lost sector 500 times.

Except that is shouldn't stay "haunted". It needs to just keep the same mechanics with a random chance at light/dark.
