Hopefully there is some information here that can help resolve this issue. I know that there are many other players who are having a similar stuttering issue that has gotten worse since Forsaken released. I've had this issue since launch last year and although Destiny 2 has been playable, it has negatively impacted my overall experience with the game. [b]Destination/Activity: [/b]Stuttering is most noticeable when in any free patrol zone. This stutter is present in all other activities besides campaign story missions, but not quite as severe as when in patrol. [b]Description: [/b]After spending time within patrol zones, a noticeable stutter starts to happen even if doing nothing. The issue appears to accelerate if I participate in a Public Event or load into another landing zone or Lost Sector. The stutter becomes more noticeable over time until I leave the planet or restart the game. This seems to be unrelated to framerate, since most patrol areas I get over 80 fps (except on crowded EDZ and Titan instances which can go to 50-55 at times). But when in story missions (or before the stutter starts to worsen) the game appears much smoother at the same framerates. Framerate and stutter were hardly affected. -Change Windows compatibility settings for destiny2.exe (Disable full screen optimizations and various settings related to high DPI scaling). -Scan and Repair Destiny 2 via the Battle.net client. -Clean reinstalls of graphics drivers using DDU, including using older drivers (had been using 391.35 since other users reported it worked better, but I've seen no difference since updating yesterday to 411.63). -Changing various settings within NVIDIA control panel. Resetting to default global/game profiles, different VSYNC and GSYNC set ups, different values for Maximum pre-rendered frames, among other things.
