It wasnt cute with leviathan and its not cute now wuth last wish. They should have 3 perks and an increase to damage to a specific enemy, like say... the scorn and/or taken.
Im not trying to be a prick here, just think my rocket launcher is a reskinned version of all my other ones.
Anyone remember vault of glass, crotas end and wrath of the machine weaponry? Where they all had unique perks, builds and could do extra damage to certain enemies?
Please bungie, give them some love!
Edit 1: I appreciate all the reception so far, it seems we got a good majority who want them to be amazing like atheons epilogue, praetorian foil, word of crota etc.
To all who are saying the best weapons shouldnt be locked behind THE RAID, then this expansion is gonna have nothing worth while getting 2-4 months down the road.
Stop with this casualized loot drops for a time consuming raid.

Bearbeitet von Kailera: 9/26/2018 3:12:49 AMMy Age-Old Bind that dropped at masterwork 10 with Fourth Time's The Charm and Rampage works just fine.
-
This is why I haven’t been motivated to raid in D2. The gear that drops from them is no better than the trash that you can get from vendors at the tower.
-
This is exactly why players only use 3 weapons. I’ve used tigerspite, ikelos shotgun and whisper for the entire dlc so far. Absolutely no reason to use anything else.
-
i can get behind this, although the masterworked nation of beasts that drops with accurized rounds, firefly, outlaw, and masterworked range as a curated roll is pretty nuts and you can’t get that roll anywhere else. i do agree that raid weapons should be unique in some way though. for the leviathan they were the only weapons that could have two traits but now all weapons are like that so something needs to set them apart from the rest.
-
No weapons will ever be better than WoTM. Those were perfect imo. Two perks that worked with each other flawlessly. And the extra damage in pve. All raid weapons should be like that
-
It's almost like you made this whole post without knowing anything about how the raid drops work. Have you not seen the guns from The Raid? If you get them from a boss they look better than most of the guns in the game. Apparently you didn't see the handcannon which is the fate bringer?
-
Eh, Malfeasance might do that job with the taken

Bearbeitet von Fishyb: 9/24/2018 9:25:21 AMThe only reason people raided so much in D1 was to grind for the amazing weapons. How many times did we all grind VoG for those awesome weapons that helped you throughout the whole game and you simply LOVED using? All of us, how many people raid in D2 for the amazing loot? Year, thought so.

Meanwhile i've made it to the riven on 2 characters and havent had a single weapon drop fml
-
I guess you guys aren't in the loop entirely? If you get a raid weapon from a chest, not a boss, it just drops with random rolls. If you get it from a boss, it drops as masterworked with set rolls and, what I believe to be a unique perk. I recently got an auto rifle that has Fourth Times the Charm and rampage and it masterworked with range. I have no complaints about it. It's pretty awesome.
-
aint gonna lie that Chattering Bone pulse rifle is probably the best Pulse Rifle in destiny 2
-
I think a flat does more damage buff isn't the right perk to add, something like deal more damage while taken strength is active for guns or take less damage while taken strength is active on the armor would be a nice way to make the gear more special
-
I don’t think raid weapons need perk combos unattainable on other gear. I think what they DO need is synergy. As others have said, WoTM was the pinnacle of that philosophy. I think raid weapons should have an inherent perk, such as a small damage boost against the primary enemy type of the raid (taken in this case) I actually like the fact that raid guns from last Wish drop with random rolls, as well as curated “standard raid drops”. They just need that enemy perk and we are golden.
-
I agree. Make the raid weapons great again
-
I only got the auto and rpg, I think the auto is great, especially in pvp, haven't tried out the rocket launcher though
-
They better not even try it Raid perks -blam!-ing made destiny 1 a toxic shit hole game . Bungie better not even think about bringing back oh if you do not have a G horn you are utter shit
-
I don't raid. At all. But I agree that raid weapons should have raid specific perks. As long as it's raid specific, it has zero impact on the weapon balance of power in the rest of the game. So why not?
-
Raid weapons should give you a slight edge in the raid. I think an easy way to do this would be a "deal more damage while Taken Strength buff is active" Raid armor likewise should offer bonuses to assist in the raid. The Leviathan had this (eventually) and the Last Wish armor should too.
-
Raid weapons should be locked rolls, with raid perks. It's frustrating as balls to not have good perks on raid gear.
-
Master worked scout and HC are pretty damn good
-
What you should be asking for are raid specific perks and not a buff
-
I got 332 crucible kills on my inaugural adress pulse rifle it still melts. Now if it can roll with random rolls an maybe head seeker with it's current stats ill be happy. 😃
-
I think they moved away from these perks due to people requiring even more of others when forming. I remember VoG posts: must have fully raid armor, Vex Mythoclast, and two other raid weps. This was because the perks helped with oracle damage and what not. That further pushed the disparity of the player base. The ones that got the rng drops now controlled who raided. Yes you can make your own group, but I have seen people inspect you, and then leave cause “why no raid weapon?”. I want the perks back and would even go as far as to want pvp perks so we could have diversity. Heck, maybe even set bonuses lol makes collecting things meaningful. As it is, I just wait for year one exotic drops and destroy all the useless legendary gear that has poor rolls. I have yet to raid as I am working on light level, aiming for 570+ before I go in as I am missing whisper and the other “required” weapons lol
-
Blame this on the people who wanted random rolls; Bungie always goes overboard.
-
They don’t need love. Putting the best weapons into a mode most people don’t play would just further divide the player base and they need to stop doing it. I see people playing with raid weapons in every game mode so people like them. Maybe you will be happier with a better roll. All rocket launchers are like that.
