Seriously? Going to nerf the sleeper because of crybabies?
When will you guys figure out that people are going to cry about everything? That's all they know. They are always going to cry over what beats them in everything.
Stop bowing down to casuals and leave our exotics exactly as they are. Exotic. The sleeper is a heavy and meant to kill people in one shot. And it's far from the only heavy used in gambit. Yet you guys tweet that after all the crying you are looking to change it so people use something else.
And when they use something else people will bitch about that as well.
Dont go back to the cycle of nerfing everything like you did in D1 when the scrubs cry about it.
The majority are finally enjoying the game again after it was damn near dead.
Dont make us leave again due to casual cry babies. They will never stop

I'm against nerfs but come on, Sleeper is stronger than any other heavy weapon you can use (except 1000 voices but that's rare so it's very unlikely you'll encounter it) Sleeper can one-shot ANYONE with a body shot, even an invader with an overshield in their super. While every other linear fusion rifle/sniper requires a headshot and probably won't kill an invader in their super with an overshield. It's also instant damage, compared to a rocket which has to travel to the enemy and thus can be avoided.... The amount of ammo you get from a single pickup is also insane, and I think a better decision would have been to just nerf the ammo in gambit instead of the aim assist, but whatever.

I mean.. when all you gotta do is hit anywhere on the player, hitscan, no travel time, its a little over powered. At least with snipers, you gotta hit the head for a 1 shot kill. Shotguns you have to get close. other linear fusion rifles need a headshot. I don't have a problem winning against sleeper users, they typically don't have the ammo to kill their primes fast enough.

5 Antworten#1. Player tracking lost is one solution. #2. Overshield being lost is one solution. #3. Increasing snipers and tracking rockets to have better tracking or aim assist to force players to stick by cover like they should is another solution. #4. Heavy ammo reduction to a single clip for invading purposes. #5. Reducing the amount of heavy bricks and caches. There's a lot of ideas on the table. I think the best is honestly losing player tracking. That way heavies can still do a lot of damage to a boss and we don't have to worry about a new meta.

Just please leave gambit and the sleeper stimulant alone. There is nothing wrong with gambit only players. 1. Sleeper has ALWAYS been a one hit to everything in crucible. There’s no reason to use it otherwise. 2. There are better options than the sleeper: Queenbreakers bow Man’O’ War Crooked fang + 1 more linear fusion I can’t name. Tracking rocket They have 40-50% the charge time that a sleeper has.... I’ve killed tons of sleeper wielding clan stacks in gambit invading with my legendary linears’. One of the last games I played I wiped ~60 notes in a single invasion all within 5-6 seconds while they where trying to bank motes. All headshots with my legendary linear fusion. You don’t need or require a sleeper. Invading is just fine as it is. You should not feel “safe” when someone invaded. If you are lollygaging around you deserve to die. When sleeper first became ultra prevalent, my team just started dropping Titan bubbles every time we were invaded and just waited until he left. Eventually we backed invaded hunters and started racking up mad headshot and rocket kills against sleeper users. Git gud and stop complaining. As you can see from my collections I don’t have a sleeper in D2. Just too lazy to do the quest. Same with acrius.

I honestly find it hilarious that you cockroaches genuinely think Bungie nerfs things just because people tell them to. They don't rebalance anything unless the useage data backs it up. In the case of Sleeper, it has such a massive advantage in Gambit that it is the singular meta weapon for that mode, and a team that doesn't have one is at a disadvantage. This is the same shit as when they nerfed Gally in D1: it was broken as shit, and people were setting up raid farms with no less than 4 of the things so they could instantly kill Crota on his first phase. You dipshits cried about that too because your crutch got taken away, and now your Gambit crutch is being SLIGHTLY ALTERED TO HAVE LESS AUTO-TARGETING and yet here you are foaming at the mouth and shrieking with tears and snot streaming down your faces over it, and you have the nerve to try to call the people that noticed a severe balance problem and pointed it out "crybabies"? Mad cuz -blam!-ing bad, trash pile lmfao

I won't lie: I constantly b*tched whenever someone bodied me with a Sleeper in PvP, Gambit or otherwise. But now that I have it too, whenever I catch someone using it first on me, they get it back tenfold, and with someone that can aim with it.

I dont think it's going to get nerfed. I hope they don't. I do have to agree that it is annoying in gambit but at the same time you can easily avoid it. Sure hiding sucks but it's not that bad. And I've played matches where nobody used it. If bungie does do something about sleeper I hope it's either tweak ammo economy in gambit OR just disable the catalyst when invading.
