Fun Fact about Coca-Cola
Want to know the reason they changed their “original” formula?

Coke was beginning to lose the majority share of the market to Pepsi.
Desperate, they began holding blind taste tests that centered around two cups, one Coke and the other Pepsi. They would ask consumers which they preferred after a single sip...and Pepsi almost always won.
[spoiler]What they didn’t realize was that it was just a sip. Many of the consumers didn’t enjoy drinking the whole cup, a fact Coke realized far too late.[/spoiler]
Coke became hell-bent on winning the blind taste tests, and changed variable after variable until their soda became the preferred drink to consumers.
“Perfect”, they thought. “Time to send to market.”
[spoiler]It didn’t end well.[/spoiler]
Moral of the story: Seek wisdom in council. It just might save you from a world of hurt.

They would ask consumers which they preferred after a single sip...and Pepsi almost always won.[/quote] THIS IS A LIE The Pepsi Challenge was a publicity stunt held BY PEPSI, who were desperate to try to topple the Coke Corp. from the top of the soda throne. The Pepsi challenge ONLY showed the people who chose Pepsi. Both of them. I could then and still now taste the difference in them and pick Coke every time. Pepsi always has an aspirin like taste to it, and can be tasted well after you've consumed it. Coke made a ploy with "New" Coke (eventually changed to Coke II) in trying to bolster sales, but IT FAILED MISERABLY. People boycotted them until they returned to the original formula, and have remained #1 since. Moral: You don't mess with success! Or a succubus, but that's a different story.
