How about with the changes and re-balancing to the weapon slots, we phase out ammo entirely in PVE but keep the concept of reloading?
Overwatch proves that it can work if you balance the numbers correctly.
Please note I’m only talking about PVE, pvp is a different beast.

Destiny isnt Overwatch. Overwatch is a completely different game, and is primarily PvP based.

The ammo is so people dont go in guns blazing and think about how theyre going to tackle an opponent, with no ammo limiter it would be way too easy for someone to just run a kinetic rifle and pop high leveled enemies shields, they dont have to worry about ammo so why bother switching to a energy weapon unless theyre trying to speedrun
