I Love this game, but I think I am about done. I play for the fun of crucible, but it has become completely toxic. 4 man squads everywhere, including Quickplay. I try to play solo queue and get matched with teammates that barely know what move forward is. The game is losing all fun because there is no skill based matchup. I think I’m done giving bungie any more money.
Was just added to a game that was 72 to 6 and ended when I joined. What’s the point of that bungo?

Cue the cadre of people who want to remind OP that Destiny isn't meant to be a solo experience, that he needs to nut up and stop being shy, that if he wants to play Destiny "right" he needs to make friends or join a clan or use LFG, or that he needs to generally "stop whining/quit his bitching/shut the f*ck up". Even though significant portions of Destiny 1 could easily be played and enjoyed solo, including lone wolf queues for Crucible, and that Destiny 2 had somehwat satisfying solo play until Season 3 when the devs saw fit to break the mid-game and force solo players out of a lot of experiences.

I feel you bro. Heavy spam is so bad I find myself being pushed out of the way by so called teammates who won't dare push forward without heavy ammo. Engaging in 1 vs 1 duels with a primary weapon is what makes PVP games so much fun but that's a rare thing in this mess of a game. Notice how fast the "we hear you" BS vanished after they failed yet again at delivering a fun PVP sandbox update? I wonder what they'll come up with next. 🙄

Stop playing PVP for awhile. The game is just not in a fun place right now. Especially for solo players. If you HAVE to team up in order to simply have FUN playing the game...then you are dealing with a broken, poorly designed game.
-
You can always play rumble, since it's permanently in the crucible now. Another good option is to get a team. Bungie have themselves said that Destiny is best experienced with friends.
-
You could have left off the words "for solo queue's" and it still wouldn't be wrong.
-
The game is broken for solo queue’s.
Sometimes, sure, but it's called "Quickplay" not "Soloplay."
-
People need to stop being drama queens. Nothing Bungie does is going to prevent stacked teams. I've never once been in a 72 to 6. Not saying that there haven't been lopsided matches but I find it more fun disrupting a stacked team even if we're going to lose. Coming into a losing game and coming back and winning is incredibly satisfying.
-
your complaint is that you don't have your own fireteam/freinds to play with. NOT Bungies problem! ITs a team game. find a team!!!! Don't blame the blueberries!! if you are a blueberry yourself how many people do you think are commenting the same thing about you!!! Next you will complain that Team shooting is the issue. Again TEAM GAME!!!

While I still believe connections should always come first matchmaking should be able to create 2 fair teams. A freelancer palylist wouldnt hurt either...

I agree with your point. Anyone that tries to reasonably suggest that solo players shouldn't play solo in PVP should really consider that if it was only meant to be team play, you wouldn't even be able to go solo. You have trials for sweaty team play - quick play is meant to quick, accessible fun but the reality is that very often it's not fun because you end up against a stacked team and any element of skill is taken out of it, you're just doomed to constant team shotting. Yes - team shotting IS an issue in D2 when you're playing against stacked teams because they use that to wreck the 'blueberries'. The answer is clear, implement a solo play queue however I strongly suspect they don't do this due to the player numbers. Maybe in D3 something will improve but in all honesty I'm not holding out hope.

Agree. 1st game I played after not playing for a while and it's against a 6 stack with claymores. That's awful

Rumble is coming back.
-
at its core destiny is not a pvp game and its far from being one. its useful to practice in self control, not other fps brought me so much negative emotions to brush off.
-
it's a game, you fight whoever you go up against, then start another match.
-
All right, in any other multiplayer game it's easy to play alone, but not in destiny. Bungi for some reason believes that it's fun, threesome or four, shoot one. A fine teamplay of ahahahaha.

get friends get a clan go play god of war

I like how you used the word "toxic" to describe matchmaking.
